My God.. Portugal -v- England !!!!!!!!?

So much to be said about The Match of the Tournament. I am Portuguese but thanks England for showing us that Portugal is eitgher a load of cr_p or they really were weaken by the Holland team. I support Portugal but I had tears in my eyes of genuine sadness for a people I love. My 7-year old son who only loves one team and that's England, ran to the bedroom crying his eyes out. I went after him. HEROS the whole of the Eng team EXCEPT cr_p Rooney and cr_p Sven. Your future is Lennon ! Not Rooney. He never convinced me ! LENNON DOES !! Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine that I would have tears in my eyes and also had hugged my son to console him. I am Portuguese but, you know, sod football. It is being taken too far.it is only sport. You played cr_ap and you always won... now you play WELL and Rooney let's you down. Excuse me but I have to attend to my son. Going out with him. Just one thing, Rooney has no class ! He clearly lost his cool BY STEPPING ON THE B_ALLS OF THAT PORTUGUESE PLAYER ! That is cowardice !! Get rid of him.. Cherish Lennon who may not ever earn millions selling condoms or shampoo whta the hell that Beckham sells but he is GOOD. The best Eng players for me in the match ? JOHN TERRI, LENNON. "go_england" I was not going to say it but you touched that point. You guys did not take advantage of the (only) slight favouritism the referee was showing you. Listen me out. Portugal, in 90 jplus 30 minutes did not have A SINGLE FREEKICK near the England's box. All fouls were ignored by the refereee, eg. Lampard foul on C.Ronaldo just outside the box was totally ignored ! EVERY freekick given to Portugal was either close to the Portugal net OR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD. Nobody notices, right ? But the referee was working that it the whole match !! NOT ONE freekick given near the Eng box. NOT ONE ! AQny of those could have resulted in a goal for England. Tou guys did not take advantage of the fav the ref was presenting you with, on a platter !! How can you miss all those penalties ? Unforgivable. We missed them too and that is sh_t too. But Ricardo, never it the history of Major football has a goalkeeper defend almost all the penalties, LOL !!

"go_england" -- I took my weepy son out and he asked me to buy him, what ? those small 'Shootout' envelops which contain photos of footballers to collect.

The rest of the English team were HEROES to have to suffer the antics of that pratt Rooney !! Does he think that is cool ? Brave ? The cool guys are J. Terry !! Lampard is down on my list although he was up there for a long time. He was totally rubbish !! I would like to see Mourinho take charge of the Engliah team, LOL. They would start winning for a change but all the shampoo and toothpaste salesmen would go out and in would come J.Terry, Ferdinand (he was good !!) but so sad to see him cry !!

yea Rooney was horrible to do what he did. But I think the better team won. I mean everyone has been saying England does not play that well and portugal is a really good team. But they were seriously weakened by Holland.

Money and the media have turned football into an entertainment circus, which is a shame, when kids want to be footballers now, do they want to play well or be rich and famous and advetise deodorant? All sport has gone this way.

Yay Francis, we won :) Tell your son there's nothing to cry about, England was a very good competitor, they have excellent players, nothing to be ashamed about. Yes Lennon is dangerous! Crouch however, isn't much of a player, his only asset is his height!

yeah. I agree with you about Rooney, that was kinda cheap when he stepped on that guy. He's getting way to full of himself and becoming over-rated. Lennon is on his way up there. Hargreaves put up on h*ll of a match though, I was proud of him being canadian!

Don't forget Hargreaves. He was amazing.
In the end it was Ricardo who made the difference, he was the better keeper.
I was sad for England, too.

they definitely played great. its too bad rooney lost his cool. wasnt entirely his fault though....did u see that sly wink in the eyes of the young lady, c.ronaldo after he was, to me, unfairly redcarded?that was uncalled for and he totally lost his cool when c.ronaldo said sumthin which must have triggered that card. portugal and their countless fake dives?? unbelievable- just too bad nothin, ABSOLUTELY nuthin happens.
