If anyone paid the ref it was the English, because he ignored several English fouls and none from the Portuguese. Get over it.

in what way. i didnt know u pay to pay a referee to send off a player if he kicks ur player in the groin. if that is the case then yes maybe he did.
but in reality maybe u should look at rooney's idiotic attitude. austraila conceeding a penalty, usa conceeding a penalty, deco being sent off, those were shocking decisions. not rooney lashing out and then getting sent off with england fans being sore losers.

No, he refereed well, but in such big games he should be able to refer to video evidence as in rugby. maybe with this Rooney would have got a yellow card. And also the players fouling Rooney beforehand would have got yellow cards
