Yes, I am a stupid American. I'm starting to get into soccer, and I was just wondering why so many people are huge fans of MU.

And did you know that the comitee that could allow the use of instant replays in football is controled, for decades, by english people?

Don't you agree it's about time you guys put pressure on these people, instead of criticizing other teams?

As far as I am know, the english are the main responsible for these stone-age rules that never changes... and yet they are the ones that complain the most about unfair-play... is this annoying or is just me? (this one is for non-english :p)

How about replays to help the refs? That way all calls will be fair and undisputable.
How about changing the offside rules (so as to create more goal scoring chances).
A more vigorous system to penalise foulers / offenders ?
Increase the size of the field?
Increase the number of players?
Decrease the number of players?
Change the length of the halves , to say ninety minutes per half?
Change the method of scoring eg., corners are worth 1 point; hitting the woodwork is worth 3 points; this would hopefully result in a more attacking brand of football ); missed penalties are worth 1 point ; scored penalties are worth 5 points; actual goals are worth 8 points; etc
- this is meant to be a framework which would open up the game and encourage teams to be more attacking ( which is more exciting for the viewer and fan )
also as the game progresses their are many options open to the coach and team to secure a " WIN " - the permutations would keep the fans on the edges of their seats

After Podolski made his penalty kick against Argentina, he made a "Hail Hitler" sign. Many of my friends saw it and we were outragged. Then a fight broke out between the teams that not much has been sad. There are a lot of Jews in Argentina, and few of their players are too. If this is so FIFA should rule Podolsk not be allowed to play again!!!

First in the game against Spain, Henry faked being hit in the face by Puyol. This gave way to a free kick for Franch and a goal. Now he faked a slide tackle and three himself which gave way to a penalty and the only goal in the game. To see a picture go to www.lamaza.blogspot.com

He showed very bad sportsmanship by winking at his team mates and interfering, but can that be considered cheating?
