no, no damn replays. IT'S NOT SLOW AMERICAN FOOTBALL WHERE THE PLAY STOPS EVERY 10 SECONDS FOR 5 MINUTES.
90 MINUTES A HALF? DO YOU EVEN PLAY SOCCER, OBVIOUSLY NOT.
YOU'RE AN IDIOT

I was appauled at the number of dives (staged falls/false injuries) in the World Cup. I came up with an idea this morning:
The ref sees a tackle and judges whether the person tacked is genuinely injured (if so send for assistance) or just putting it on.
If putting it on, then that player is subject to a forced subtitution - not a red card (sent off and no replacement), but substituted there and then for any other sub. That player can no longer be involved in the game.
If there are no more subs, then the team is faced with the same problem as red cards - players sent off and no one allowed to replace them, but honestly if it gets to that, then teh team playing should be penalised as a whole for being a load of drama queens...
Whatcha think?

NOTHING! It is the beautiful game for a reason. Scoring doesn't always equal excitement. Yesterday's game between Italy and Germany was end to end action with great attacking, defending and goaltending from both teams. There was nothing wrong about that game and no goals were scored until 119' of a 120' game. It is perfect the way it is!

I think that there needs to be a harsher penalty for flopping and diving. It has been a disgrace in this world cup where world-class players are taking advantage of fouls called and using them for the better. Putting a microchip in the ball for use during replays (like in the U-17 finals) would greatly help as well.

FOOTBALL is the fine as it is. Dont try to bring in stupid conversions that they do in the US to every sport for marketing. Football is already the biggest giant as it is in sports. Now, I think better communication between the referees and having a fourth official assist in decision as well could be an option.

In order to allow the refs to get a better view of the actual fouls, and therefore cut down on diving, i think there should be two refs on the field, along with the usual two sidejudges.

Nothing. The game is pretty amazing as it is, exciting and fun. Why change it? If it was completely and totally fair, we wouldn't have anything to discuss on this site now, would we?
