yea i think the english fans cant get over portugal beating england in the quarterfinal. england didnt play, damnit! get over it!

Because the Brits are bunch of whiners. They somehow think that they are all football gods, and they are better than everyone. BUt they have not won anything in 50 years. Or for that matter evenb come close. Not even a file, not even the semis.
The red card was justified but as always they try to blame everyone but themselves.
Blame the fans for putting extra pressure on the team, which is not as good as they think.
Blame the coach for just being plain stupid.
Blame the media for acting along with the fans.
Blame Rooney for being a hot head.
Blame all the players for always choking in the big stage.
In short they are whiners. I like the England team actually and I l,ove FA Premier league. But as appealing as the league is, their team can never perform. One reason maybe attributed to the fact that the Brits are one dimensional. Long balls, outstanding headers, using the pitch well north - south are all attributes of the FA Premier league. All the teams play the same and defend the same for this one dimensional way of thinking. And for this reason there are no British players that are succesful in any league outside of FA Premier. Dont say Beckham because he was not succesful in Real Madrid. Neither was Mcmanaman and many others.
And I know the Brits are going to say it is because FA Premier LEague is the best in the world with all the best players around the world. this is not true either because Italian league is the best. And it still is the choice of all top players first.
Crespo had his golden years in Italy. Even at the time of the great like Zico, Platini, Maradona they all played in Italy oin fact against each other in the same era.

The controversy is that Rooney and C. Ronaldo are both teammates in the Premier League of England, and Rooney suspects that Ronaldo was diving, and he thought he saw him wink at the bench after the foul was called. Because of this, Cristiano Ronaldo will not play on the same team as Rooney next year.
