Salenko also was joint recipient of the Golden Shoe with Bulgaria's Hristo Stoichkov in 1994. However, it is highly unlikely that a single player will score six goals. Forget, six not a single player has even scored a hat-trick in the 2006 edition of the World Cup.

Yeah, because the small final or 3rd place game is also a game at the World Cup and it counts for the number of goals and the quality of play.

yes he is. as long as player scores during regulation time or in overtime, the goal counts in his tally. once it goes into penalty kicks, it doesn't count

i beleive yes. as long as others don't score more than him. the teams in the 3rd plc. playoff are still in the tourney.
