Football - June 2006

From the USA game to the Korea V. Switzerland game just now I think that the refs of this world cup are ruining this sacred sport and game. Its amazing to me that these players are able to contain their true feelings because I know I would flip out if someone denied be a hard won goal or made my team lose because of a shitty call. What do you think??

I'll give you a reason. Because you can end in a scoreless tie. What's the point in that?!? Yay I just ran for 90 min for nothing so I could tie 0-0. And also most soccer players are p u s s i e s so it shouldnt be a sport.

those Refs were handing out red cards like cotton candy!! espically to the USA! op!u scored a goal RED CARD! why are you wearing THOSE jerseys?!?! RED CARD! i mean come on!!!

i watch football almost everday now(world cup)can u believe the way their score.it look like some of the team is been tide down by money or bookie.some of poor country team or famous team just give up to rich country team after 45 min of playin.it just look like we was watchin world politics or business. i thought sport is fair but after this few year(world cup)it just no fun watchin.THE TEAM CAN FOOL THEMSELVES IN THE FEILD BUT THEIR CAN'T FOOL THE FAN.

No offense for the fans of aussies, but australia only beat japan on their group, after that. brazil whip them and they struggle out to make a draw with croatia, i think croatia should of advance, after all brazil had a harder time playing with croatia. now what are you'll toughts?

The world has about 6.5 billion people, of which only about 66% have a television. That leaves about 4 billion people. With China having about 1.3 billion people do we really think they will wake up at 3 am to watch a FIFA where their country is not participating? North American ratings show not alot of people are watching.

I might be able to say 750 million to 1 billion...but 2-3 billion, i think not!
