I'll give you a reason. Because you can end in a scoreless tie. What's the point in that?!? Yay I just ran for 90 min for nothing so I could tie 0-0. And also most soccer players are p u s s i e s so it shouldnt be a sport.

"Look who's asking! A baseball player!! A game that in Japan if the game is tied after the 15th inning, it ends in a tie game! That in Little League it has a 15 run mercy rule, and, can you explain to me the infield fly rule one more time?
In his hayday Babe Ruth cound't run 90 minutes on that beer belly of his, but Pele can still scare goalies today!! "

Thats why I said scoreless tie you idiot! Please read carefully. 15 run mercy run rule means you win by that amound or more in a certain amount of innings.

And to all of you I have played soccer before, I started on a city championship team, but baseball and american football are better and that is why I will never waste my time with soccer again. If I play it then I might have to consider myself a pussy.

Your thinking is exactly why soccer will always be a second rate sport in America. By the way, why do they give you 6 points for a touchdown in football, and 1 or 2 points for scoring a second time.? Americans like to see high scores. How popular do you think American football would be if the scores ended up 3 to 2 rather than 21 to 14. Soccer is a skill sport requiring stamina and ability. Not just knocking someone down or runing over them. Try running for 90 minutes yourself.

Have you played soccer? It's exhausting. And a tie doesn't just mean you did score, it also means you successfully defended your own goal. P.S. Soccer is the world's favorite sport, look it up.

Those are your opinions and if you wish to share them, good.for you. But don't try to convince people that football (soccer to you) isn't a sport. It is one of the best sports in the world, hands down!! Why don't you stick to baseball and leave football to those of us who actually appreciate it??
