No offense for the fans of aussies, but australia only beat japan on their group, after that. brazil whip them and they struggle out to make a draw with croatia, i think croatia should of advance, after all brazil had a harder time playing with croatia. now what are you'll toughts?

I think yer totally right dude. In fact, they didn't even keep Japan at bay for the first 84 minutes. Till then it was 1-0 in favor of Japan. They just had one good day...oh no 10 good minutes! thatz all...

People just like to cheer the underdogs! How dogmatic!

They hung with Brazil for most of the match, and the ultimate judge is who wins and who loses. Australia fought back against Croatia to earn the tie, just as they did against Japan in the last 10 minutes to win.

The Aussies tend to be very offense-minded and put up a lot of shots. This could give Italy some trouble.

I think Australia is going to lose somehow with one of the better teams.

I think they won't have a chance against Italy.

No chance, but they do seem to perform better than the U.S. right now.

I think people generally cheer for the underdog, and that's what they are.
