Really dude, stop whining! You're team sucked and Ghana was better. Even without that penalty kick, USA wasn't going to win. The refs weren't that bad and there have been worse decisions made by the refs in the World Cup.

So stop acting as a petulant child!

Oh please! The ref made one bad call and a ton of my fellow Americans think it's a conspiracy or something! C'mon!

I hate to break it to my fellow countrymen and women, but we just weren't that good this year. We had one great match against Italy, a fairly good one against Ghana, but the Czech match showed us that we still have a long way to go before we are a serious threat to win the World Cup. We'll be lucky if we stay in the top 25 of FIFA's rankings.

The US just sucked this year, they would'nt have won even if the Refs gave them calls. And this is not someone hating on the US, I AM A BORN AND RAISED AMERICAN AND EVEN I COULD SEE IT! The US is just not ready to win the World Cup yet. Someday yes I would like to see them win, but this year, or 2010 even we might not be ready.

I'm just blowing off a little steam because I am embarrased to see other Americans blaming the refs for the US losses. We have no one to blame but OURSELVES, NOT THE REFS! We have been over rated (#5 according to FIFA) for far to long and Ghana and the Czech's proved that.

For the nth time, they've been screwing up calls all over the place, not just for our team. The penalty kick was a bad call, but there was plenty of time for us to score again and take it out of the ref's hands. That's what you have to do sometimes, in any sport.
