Has Andy Reid neglected his children trying to make McNabb into Brett Favre? He would be able to balance family measures if he had a true quarterback to deal with! Hell, the Eagles have gotten every call for five years trying to promote McNabb- I think the window of opportunity has finally closed. How long will we have to deal with the Reggie Bush farse?

I seem to remember a couple of dropped passes by the Redskins that could have made this game a blowout. Once the Redskins get on the same page, look out. Nobody picked the Skins to win last night except Tom Jackson, I guess he is the only one with some brains.
Why do you think the Redskins won the game?

with 6 td returns last year and one already this year. (he also had one called back on a block that wouldn't have mattered) Not to mention another one that he brought back to the opponents 30 yd line which he was a block away from a td.(this year)

What a great question for fans. I know I will get so many different opinions. I feel that Super Bowl wins are a team win. Just look at how crappy Manning did up until the Super Bowl. I feel Brady is only getting better as wel as Manning. Although, I think their is no comparison in who is better. Manning may be the best QB in history. Most people want to put Montana and Young up there but football has changed. Most importantly, think of how players are looked at once they are done and gone. They get more respect. How many teams hit the playoffs every damn year? That is a hard task. Brady is only overshadowed as the second best qb in the last 20 years because of Manning.

I'm a Eagles fan and McNabb stunk up the joint tonight. We drafted a guy, and I'm afraid if we don't get this guy som PT will get behind the other teams in the league. While everybody else is rebuilding we should be doing the same.

I've noticed that Appalachian State has been recieving points on the NCAA top 25 poll, rating them today (9-17) somewhere in the #30-35 range.

Assuming they win out, could Appalachian State decide to accept an invitation to the Motor City bowl, or some other lesser bowl game, forgo the monthlong I-AA playoff and get the guaranteed money instead of the mere chance of winning the big money on the I-AA stage.

I understand that Appalachian State is in another division, but does that REALLY disqualify them from playing in a bowl game?

I sure know that the Motor City Bowl would be dying for more viewers and Appalachian State will bring just that.

Favre Sets Quarterback Victory Record

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Sept. 16) - Brett Favre didn't need a rocket arm to become the winningest quarterback in NFL history on Sunday. His 17 years of football knowledge and a near-perfect second half against a bad defense were plenty.

Favre completed his first 14 second-half passes and threw three touchdown passes to rally the Green Bay Packers to a 35-13 victory over the New York Giants' porous defense.

"Maybe someday down the road it will mean a lot," a typically humble Favre said after the 149th win of his career, moving past Hall of Famer John Elway.

What meant more to Favre was the game ball his teammates handed him after the Packers got off to their first 2-0 start since 2001.

"I'm not going to sit here and lie to you," added Favre, who was 29-of-38 for 286 yards and one interception. "I'm not going to turn it down. I've always been about the team. That hasn't changed. I think it's unfair that the quarterback gets labeled with wins and loses. I think it's a team effort."

While Favre refused to bask in the glory, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said any NFL record is a monumental achievement.

"I think a lot is made of statistics and touchdowns, but I think it's wins," McCarthy said. "When you go out and win over that period of time, that's the ultimate compliment a quarterback can have."

Any word on when their planning on giving him a whirl? You'd think Kiffin would deam this week his best shot at breakin that has-been in, right? I mean, Cleveland's paperthin defense is about as bad as Mariah Carey was in Glitter.

After a summer of Vick and Pacman, the Patriot's cameras, and OJ's arrest, what do you think the next big story in the NFL will be? It can't be actually related to the results of an exciting game, those stories aren't interesting!!!!!
