The Eagles can recover....but the Giants are running out of luck. They don't have a running game, there's bad coaching, the focus is on Eli Manning...New York better pray the Jets are still alive, or it's back to the Yankees.

No. I say the comprehensive with the Redskins for the #2 spot and a wild-card. although, I say the Giants finally end up taking #2. Eagles are a lock for the NFC East cellar. a million. Cowboys 2. Giants 3. Redskins 4. Eagles

I say the Giants will finish last. They are by far worse of a team than the Eagles. Eli Manning is a woman wearing a football uniform. EAGLES!

It's week 2 and we're already saying teams will be last in their division? The Eagles have plenty of time to recover, and the Giants will probably win a few games. I say it will be either Giants or Skins at the bottom.

People are basing their opinions more on facts than on what has happened in the NFL in the last few years. Gotta face the inevitable winds of change that can sweep you from up high straight down to the bottom..and that it doesnt take much.

DONOVAN MCNABB/Eagles: Donovan is too big to be that mobile, and his knee shifting out on him last season showed him that. Now he is afraid to run and comprimise his knee...and he cannot be a consistent in the pocket quarterback. His pockets collapse and he cannot compensate for his lack of receiving core anymore.

NYGIANTS: Face it...and be honest with yourself...even NY fans...Tiki Barber and his pure ability made up for a lot of glaring weaknesses this team has had for YEARS. Tiki single handedly handed this team wins by himself. You wonder why he retired early? He should have had donations from the entire teams' paycheck given to him. Now with him gone, they are stuck with a Peyton Clone, a Santana Moss Clone, and Plaxico Burris who, although is a very clutch receiver, is as slow as cold molasses and can be beat by most corners. Nobody has to double cover him. Coughlin has done no kind of development for this team, has no depth, and it shows. The only consistent weapon this team has is Jeremy Shockey...and HE isnt consistent at all. That should show exactly how bad this team has gotten.

DALLAS COWBOYS: The truth is this is the brainchild of the Tuna himself. I am somewhat sad he didnt stick around to watch his team work. Romo and T.O are going to scorch most of the NFL single handedly, and if that isnt enough of a problem...while you double cover T.O try and keep Witten out of the endzone. They will end up beating MOST of their opponents by at least fourteen points this year.

REDSKINS: I am honestly of the opinion that people are so used to the Redskins having bad coaching problems and staffing problems, that they forget that a mere two years ago they were one game away from going into the Superbowl. That was on an aging quarterback and a semi developed receiving squad. Santana Moss now has Randel-El, Thrash (who isnt great but is always consistent even when at Philly) and the defense has only given up a touchdown a game.

Truth is, the folks at the bottom right now are there because their eras are ending. It happens all the time, teams go up, they go down. Do not be shocked if Dallas doesnt take this division..and doesnt end up having to fight the Redskins defense tooth and nail to get it. The Giants are too damaged by the loss of Tiki to do anything right now....and the entire city of Philly can count. Your starting quarterback hasnt won his last six starting games.

First of all, you're assuming that one of these teams will finish last, and even though the Skins took Philly last night....don't count them out of the cellar-dweller competition just yet. The New York Football Giants are already in serious trouble with their injuries and start to the season, but they may turn it around in time to end up (say) 6-10. Washington looks like a team that wants to run the old Joe Gibbs way, but they are somewhat predictable...given that, I think they finish the regular season (say) 7-9. Philly, to me is the most talented of the lower group of three, but McNabb has yet to really get it in gear....if he doesn't soon, look for his UH backup to emerge. With or without Donovan, I see Philly going around 8-8. Dallas looks (at least now) to be the "pick" for the East and I think they could easily run the schedule to ~11-5 with their talent. BTW, I think you'll see a coaching change in New York after the season....if dude makes it THAT long.

Giants. Defense is a sieve right now, there's no motivation on the team, and Tom Coughlin may be the worst coach in the history of the NFL. Well past time for him to get the boot.

I would say it will look like this...

1. Dallas 12-4
2. Philly 8-8
3 Skins 8-8
4. Giants 5-11.

Probably the Eagles. I don't care for Eli Manning, but he can help put up some points at times.

Eli!!! You are not Peyton my boy...but you're more like your daddy. Well enough said. My money is on Andy Reid turning this team around. Giant's and Coughlin has too much tension and that hurts the morale of the team.
