I think that they can pull off an 11-5 or 10-6 record this year. They have a really, really easy schedule this year. The teams they are playing had a combined .469 winning percentage last year. That is the 30th (out of 32) toughest schedule. That means only two teams have it easier thatn the Niners. Their defense is incredible with Nate Clements, Walt Harris, Tully Banta-Cain, Patrick Willis, and Bryant Young. Their offense is just off to a slow start. They will warm up. They have Vernon Davis, Darrell Jackson, Arnaz Battle, Frank Gore, Alex Smith, Justin Smiley, and Jonas Jennings. Go Niners!

I am a Niner fan so I am bias but with that said I definitely think they can because of their schedule. Especially at the end of the year. If they get ten wins this year they have a good chance to host a playoff game. The offense needs to get going though. Hopefully this weekend against the Steelers.
GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the question, pal. Will our offense ever get any better? Alex Smith is not at all playing like a #1 overall pick who has two years experience under his belt. The offensive line isn't impressing anyone (good job getting rid of Newberry, there guys... stupid) and frank the tank has yet to warm up. We'll have to see if they start clicking with Hostler's style of offense. So far, it's a far cry from Turner's system, so far. They're defense does kick a$$ though. I already ordered my Patrick Willis jersey!!!

Sure. Going back to the end of last season, they've won four of their last five, counting the two wins this year. Could they win 8 of their next 14? Why not? They get to play the Cards and the Rams again, plus the Seahawks, whom they swept last year, twice. They also have games against the Falcons, Browns, Giants and Vikings. And they're a much improved team this year, I have no doubt.
Oh, and I forgot the Bucs. It will be nice to see Jeff Garcia back in the Stick, though in the wrong uniform. Why they let him go is a mystery to me.

fellow 9ers fan here. the defense has been really nice so far. the offense has been the worst in the league, its not that hard... get vernon the damn ball. vernon is a freaking beast. how can he not be the #1 option. a monster TE with a RBs speed. i think 10 games is a bit much. i would be happy with 8-8 or 9-7.

if they play the Eagle's 8 times,..just kidding.
yes they can, they have a really good team. Besides I've been a 9er fan for more than 30 years.
there is nothing finer than a 49er. I see 11 wins.

No, but take heart. Nine wins is plenty to get to the playoffs in the mediocre NFC.
