I'm a Eagles fan and McNabb stunk up the joint tonight. We drafted a guy, and I'm afraid if we don't get this guy som PT will get behind the other teams in the league. While everybody else is rebuilding we should be doing the same.

When should teams part ways with older Quarterbacks?
When they can no longer do what is expected of them.
Dont correct if I'm wrong, but didn't your Eagles draft a QB this year? Seems like Mcnappy got all bent out of shape for them drafting one.

When the quarterback becomes more of a hindrance than a help. If he's too old to scramble out of the pocket, you know the defense will be looking for sacks, and will probably get them. Or if he's a fumbler. As far as McNabb goes, I like him. I don't thing he gets a fair shake from the fans and the media. Maybe it's not all him. There are 11 players on the team afterall.

Let McNabb take the fall for this season so the Philly fans won't crush the rookie. If McNabb pulls a playoff berth this year, I guess you kind of have to give him a chance until he can't produce anymore or at the most, two more years.

Older QBs have a lot of experience that make them more valuable down the road. Don't give up on McNabb already. He's still their best option.

McNabb did suck tonight...but I dont think that the Eagles should part ways with him just yet! Maybe bench him a few games just to make him realize that he is NOT the Eagles.

I think the Skins need to **** can Brunell...I have thought that for 3 years! He's old, slow, and WAY overdue for a kick in the *** out!!!

I think the Eagles should have stayed with Garcia myself. To tell the truth, they did better a few years ago under A.J. Feeley than they did with McNabb.

Teams should NEVER part ways with not so young QB's.
