These are the same people who make a big deal about some nobody white guy making a joke that got taken way out of context and calling for him to be fired. Now they're complaining that micheal vick is receiving too much negative press for dogfighting because he's not white like brett favre and should be allowed to keep his career. What's worse, killing and torturing dogs or saying the word "ho"? You never hear about a black person being fired for making a joke and someone with the financial resources and lawyers like OJ would actually have an advantage over most white people in a court case so all the charges of racism lack credibility. It's just typical for people like them to be more concerned with verbal political correctness than with things that actually cause real harm.

I do not hate him but I just do not like him. I think that in his time he was a great quarterback but not any more. I fell that the only reason why he is still playing is to break Marino's records. I think the Packers would be better off without him. From what I have seen Arron Rogers looks realy good. Its time to sit Farve on the bench. Do you agree.

Marino provided year after year after year. From 83 to 99 Marino provided accurate dead on passing. Even if he didn't win Super Bowls, even if he's not the greatest quaterback ever, he is the greatest pure passer to ever play the game. In his prime he was the greatest in the world and his prime was almost 16 years. His rating slid in 99 but thats the only year. Let's face it

Daniel Constantine Marino, Jr will always be better than Brett Favre(unless Brett throws 60 touchdowns and no picks this season)

In addition, there are no returning starters at WR and RB. Yes, most of the D is back but too much has been lost. Enjoy your Citrus Bowl!

Heck Brodie Croyle or Damon Huard will have a better year!

When asked what do you think should happen to vick a user said

hang him, drown him and then electrocute him just like he and his criminal friends did to those defenseless animals. Or is he and the and his friends the animals?

now is that a little disturbing? Now I gaurantee Vick never killed a human but thats what everybody is acting like. I dont like asking vick questions and they were supposed to be banned 8 weeks ago by Yahoo! but this is just getting a little absurd

blondie thinks vick is a n-----

some thinks he shouldn't even go to jail which is ridiculous if somebody is guilty they go to jail

I think he should be allowed back into the NFL under parole

I Understand every body is gonna say because we kill chickens, cows and etc for mankind or what ever but look at this dog fighting is illegal rite? and slaughtering animals on farms isn't rite? but what they both have in common is animals are being killed and you can't change that only difference is one is illegal and one is not. but then again you're forcing animals to fight on farms they just killed and get their money from the market. so what you're telling me is i can go hunting for deers (which is an animal) and kill it and eat it and don't go to jail regardless if i have a liscense or not. only way some people will accept the fact that animals are killed every llegally and illegally, so if dog fighing wasn't illegal then there would be no problem rite? Free Vick!!!!

I don't know to much about the rules and regulations for the NFL. So I guess the question is simple, Will he be able to play for another team after all this is over?

Personally, I did not see him play during his career, so maybe there was somethings I missed. I was looking into Hall-of-Famers one day and say Joe Namath. I was surprised at his unbelievably mediocre statistics: Here is what I found:

His record: 77 wins 108 losses and 3 ties, doesnt sound like hall of fame stats to me. Heck, its not even .500 football.

His .501 career completion percentage, man, is it just me or did Michael Vick threw better passes than this guy?

His 27 663 career passing yards, okay, its respectable, but even Jake Plummer threw 1590 more yards than this guy in only 3 more games.

His TD to INT ratio: 173-220. Wow, he threw more picks 47 more picks than TDs in his career. There are a bunchloads of guys who threw better TD to INT ratios and isnt in the hall.

Yes, I knew he garanteed the colts vs jets game, but all it proves is that this guy is confident in his abilities to lead his team, just like a lot of other QBs.

So why is he in the HOF?

They have the league's best offense and defense. The also have second best quarterback in the league (and i think might be the best by the middle of the season), the best rushing tandem in the league, the best receiver of the last 10 years in TO, and an offensive line that just got better with the addition of Davis. The defense is awesome too. Roy Williams is the best safety in the league, and Ware can get to the quarterback on almost every play. With Spencer coming in the Boys wont let any team get more than 10 points per game. I expect them to realistically lose 1 game this season, with the outside chance they could run the table. What team from the past could beat this team?

If they are that's great, he broke the law with his gambling and he took part in brutally killing poor animals...
