It was only his first whole season, and he proved he can be worthy of being the Bears Franchise Quarterback but he's also proved that he can play worse than Ryan Leaf. Also if he has an excellent season with a defense ( that won games when he played like Ryan Leaf), then he could find himself in the Superbowl.
