I'm a huge Dolphins fan, and although Ricky did give us a good season or two, I know I wouldn't want him back if he ever gets reinstated. Which brings to mind my question, will Ricky ever learn from his mistakes and be a great RB again? and for who?

No, Ricky will never learn. Ricky Williams is 30 years old. Most RB's don't have great years beyond the age of 30 because of the pounding they take playing the position. His years of being great are way behind him. He could contribute on a team, but he isn't good enough to carry an offense by himself anymore. The only teams that may take a shot or teams with coaches or coordinators that have played with Ricky in the past. One example is Rams Coach Scott Linehan.

Personally, I think Ricky will be as good as he wants to be. But here is the problem, the smoking of dope takes priority and that is what he wants. Will he learn you ask?, Ricky has already answered your question for you!

After all these years, isn't it obvious that he is incapable of learning? To learn one must have some intelligence, Ricky has none.

he appears to be "learning" and says he's off marijuana and all that, but it's so hard to believe him...and for that reason he'll never be a great running back again, because likely he'll never get another chance at being a feature back

By the time he learns/decides to quit smoking, he might be too old to play effective enough.

He may learn his lesson at some point but it won't be in the NFL, the league is done with him, he'll never get re-instated in my opinion.
