The Bears are sticking with the tag and let the year play out. Briggs says he is going to sit out until week 10. Once he gets over his bitterness and realizes how much money he will be missing out on... he'll rethink is stance. Lets not forget he only made 700k last year, so hes going to pass on 400k every Sunday to prove a point... he'll put his issues aside and will be there at the start of the regular season, play out the year and be done as a Chicago Bear.

From what I certainly have been informed, Dan Snyder and the Redskins have already expressed interest in Briggs and he has pronounced Washington as a attainable place to play final season while the Bears tagged him.

Not for a while. I think we will hold out for most of the season then play in enough games for this to count as a season so he can get rid og the franchise tag.

From the looks of it he is sticking to his guns and setting out for at least 10 games. He only has to play 6 games to uphold his end of the deal.

No. That would cost real money. Da Bears only pay real money for worthless QB's. (like Grossman)
