I love questions like this! They need a new tight end, three new helmets, a new Volvo sedan, and all the pot Ricky Williams can smoke.

I'm a Miami fan, so I have a real say in this.

We have the defense, number three in the league last year, but we need a CB, LB, FS, and SS, but the ones we have are still decent, but those are the four things needed on the defense. We have the other LB's especially with Thomas and Porter, we can be deadly. On the line we have Keith Traylor and Jason Taylor, the right side of the defense is going to be deadly, so Miami should have another top five defense in the league.

Offense...oh boy, now this is a different subject. Defense does win championships, but not if the offense can't score. Miami was like number 26 or 27 maybe lower, in ranked offense, and a number two or three defense, BUT they got tired at the end of the games, because they were constantly on the field. The first half of games were real good, as long as the offense didn't have a turnover, but the second half was worst, because they were tired, the lost to Houston, come on! We lost a lot of receivers on offense, including Wes Welker, better than Ted Jr. He was shorter, at 5'9, and 185 pounds, and very fast for that height and weight combo. We have two more offensive lineman, and Lorenzo Booker might be able to fill the job also, being 300 some odd pounds. We need a TE I believe, and they need to pick a QB, my hope is John Beck. He's healthy, very accurate with his passes, he can flick 70 yard passes with no effort, and uses wrists instead of his whole arm, so it makes a very quick and accurate release, similar to Marino, but not quite as good, but still better than most QB's. He's very mature, and very smart, and can read a defense like Manning and Marino, and he thinks before he throws a pass, which is why he had a 70% with BYU, but my question is if he can run the NFL offense. He is good, and he knows his offense watching films all the time. He is dedicated to his team, but we have to see what he can do against a real team. Dante isn't healthy, but when he is, he can be real good also, but he'll have less mobility, which he relies on heavily. BUT, we need some receivers to throw too...that can be bad.

If the can chose their QB, and the o-line can block, and the defense is a good or better than last year, we'll be good. But in the end to win, dedication, hard work, good QB, blockers, our good running back, Ronnie Brown, receivers, and our defense. If you have all that, we'll win some games, if not...sucks to be us, and we'll have to wait for the draft next year.

Good Luck Miami.

Now that they have Tedd Ginn at WR along with chris chambers and randy MchMicheals at TE, they need too use those weapon's and get alot of scoring through the air.

It is unsertin if they are going to let Ricky Williams back in the NFL, and more unsertin if he is going to play for Miami. So HB. If the Dolphin's get Trent Green he will give the ball to Ginn and Chambers and Micheal's all day and score. But if somehow they don't get green, They are basically screwed because their only other option is Cleo Lemon( Im not saying lemon is bad, he is just not a starter type QB more of a back up) Im not worried about there Defense just hope the offense hold's on.

i would like to preface this by saying i am a fan of the dolphins.

i really dont think we need a lot. we got a gamebreaker if ted ginn is healthy. at this point trent green is just a matter of when he will be a dolphin not if, so we have a capable qb ready for the season. he'll be able to stay off the ground with the improvement of our offensive line. ted ginns speed and chambers will draw the defense back and then lorenzo booker can stretch the offense horizontally. our offense, if it works out as planned, is more than capable of putting up points and our front seven is arguably the best since the 2002 baltimore ravens. our secondary is our biggest question mark, but i do like the signing of bell the other day cos the secondary did step up when he came in last year.

Dan Marino.Hey,don't let those Patriot and Colts fans get to you they have been kicked around by the Dolphins for years and are enjoying there short reign over Miami, because Miami will be back on top.I believe they will get another great QB soon.

a QB and o-line. trent green is on the way as a temporary fix, but we need for john beck to develope into the QB of the future. i acually heard anylists say before the draft that they thought he was better than brady quinn. the D was ranked 4th in the NFL led by defensive MVP jason taylor, so we're fine there. ronnie brown is the real deal at RB, and we're fine at wide reciever, especially with ted ginn jr coming in. he's the home run hitter we haven't had in years. he's wes welker with twice the speed. oh, and we lost randy mcmicheal, so we also need a TE

They are solid on defense and new head coach cam cameron is a offensive genius so i would say they need to make a run for trent green to model the very good second round pick josh beck by the way im very happy they passed on brady quinn BUST!!!!

They need Dan Marino again. But that'd make him another Michael Jordan.
