I agree. No QB is going to do well in Houston until they fix the problems with the o-line. Carr is somewhat mobile, Schaub has no mobility whatsover and can't avoid the pass rush. He'll be sacked the same number of times, if not more than Carr was. I don't think Green will have the chance to run crazy because, again, the o-line is so bad. Due to the fact that they can't sustain a block for 3 seconds, the Texans run a really short yardage passing game. This generally brings an extra safety in the box and keeps CBs from playing to far off the line. None of that is good for a runner looking for gaping holes in the defense.

Well David Carr now plays for the Carolina Panthers and if Delhome gets hurt then he might have a good chance. He's got Steve Smith, what more do you need? As for the Texans I agree with everyone else. The o-line needs to improve. Matt Shaub was a backup for the Falcons, how can he do better with the Texans?

Ok, Texans O-line sucked. But I don't think that's an excuse for a 24-56 record and such a bad TD/INT ratio. Since he was in Fresno St. he had problems holding the ball for too long and inviting the sack.
I mean, it's good not to force throws but not at this point when there are moments when there are better options than taking the sack.
If he's really this good and competitive, he will beat Jake Delhomme in the training camps. In Carolina he won't have the excuses he had at Houston.

MAAANN!!! Ive been trying to tell everybody that same thing. The texans have to have the dumbest GM alive. I mean Carr has the potential to be an awsome QB, but what QB can succeed getting sacked for record numbers in consecutive seasons. I guess the Texans think its cheaper to replace a quaterback as opposed to a whole offensive line........Oh well, I guess we can look forward to Schaub getting murdered in the backfield.

carr was young and the texans used a 1st round pick on him. he had to recivers and a decent running back. the texans should have taken reggie last year and a good lineman this year so carr could have some weopons. but no the texans want defensive ends. they draft mario then amobi they cannot get any dumber. there offense is crap beside andre johnson and there not lookin to fix it
