i think that anyone who thinks this is OK is stupid.it doesn't matter if Vick did it or not,and it doesn't matter if portis is just saying what he thinks. They were hired and they are paid by the NFL,if they want to be the superstars they think they are they have to represent the NFL,and I'm sure they NFL does not condone dog fighting.its not OK and if you even try to support these two morons you are plain retarded.oh yeah the word "haters" is old and used way to much by kids who hang out in malls and talk about how hard life is as a teen.

when portis speaks, we should just turn the tv or radio off, or turn to the next page of the newspaper...he just says some very off-base things sometimes and this is one of those times, certainly vick is in no way even a good role model for anyone, and dogfights are illegal in virginia and every other state in the union...him and his multiple costumed personalities that he pulls out during the season need to just keep their mouths shut some of the time

If he grew up around dog fighting, he probably considers it "normal". However, when you are a celebrity you should know about the topic before you speak.
Dog fighting is illegal in 48/50 states!
Watching dog fighting is illegal in 20/50 states!
Portis was just being the typical athlete:
Sticking his nose into something that is none of his business AND without the pertinent facts!

Because Portis is on that same video they supposedly have of Vick. JK, but he may be - you never know. I think he's just a loud mouth fool who should mind his own business.

to take so of the attention off Vick ,he said those things jokingly and it was not smart for him to say those things but he was saying those things just to cause a stir so people need to get over it he has a right to his opinion whether you like it or not

he was being real to what he believes. everyone wants to be hostile to his opinion, but it's just that his opinion. it is illegal, but to his point, they don't stress other situations as much as they have this Vick situation. when a common man gets shot by police or drug deals get busted they aren't big news. but scarred dogs on a mans property makes him a horrible person and worthy of a weeks worth of coverage...wierd isn't it?

You saw that too. Awful. Tired. Stale. His old characters were funny. Deadspin liked him enough for their HOF nomination. He "jumped the shark" after Dolemite Jenkins if you ask me. This last batch was kind of sad. Denver clearly got the better of the Bailey trade.
