Football (American) - November 2006

[Selected]: All categories Sports Football (American)

Alright, based on how they're all doing, here's what I think.

New England Patriots (12-5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (11-6)

Final: New England 35, Seattle 31

Why? Alright, everyone thinks that the Colts are Superbowl bound. I do too, BUT, I don't think they are a very good playoff team. Even with the Patriots former playoff master kicker Adam Vinatieri, I think the Colts are finally gonna break down in the best AFC championship game against the Patriots.

Also, the Seahawks may seem as though they are heading away from Superbowl hopes, but look. They are first in a sucky division so they are pretty much guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, where they will kick some @$$! The Bears offense is just playing like crap. Their defense can't save them for much longer. The NFC in general is pretty close, but I think the Seahawks can pull it off in playoffs.

Then again, the Pats and Hawks are my 2 favorite teams...so bias can be a part of this.

Who do you think will be the final two?

i am a junior in high school and i have been repeatedly asked to join football. i played my sophomore year, and had a great season
but i didn't play this year, because i felt that my school work and football would be too much. but as this football season is ending, the coaches are asking if i will come out for the team next year. personally i would like to go out for the team, but i am unsure about this decsion. any suggestions?

If I told you a college football team would win 8 games and lose only to the number 1,2,5 and 8 th. ranked BCS teams would you not expect it to be voted at least in the top 25? Yet PSU gets almost no votes in either poll. Hard to figure. I guess making the players go to class is a detrament to some voters.

New York Giants got Eli Manning in a deal where San Diego got Phillip Rivers and draft picks Merriman, Kaeding. (i.e) NY Giants bid on Eli Manning this way:
Eli Manning = Phillip Rivers + Shawne Merriman + N Kaeding (3 Super stars in their respective categories).

Being an analytical person I find this to be a dumb deal. What do you think???

Why does everybody suck up to them.
How the heck are they ranked when you consider the fact they barely got through 3/4 of their schedual with barely hanging on wins. And the the huge one....they lost to an unranked opponent of OREGON STATE. I repeat that Oregon State. Because you know when you think of college football you think of the great team of Oregon State Beavers.

Which teams do you think will meet in the big game given how the season has played out so far? I say Panthers vs. Colts(even though they lost).

Im worried about my G-Men.
Theyre in Jacksonville.
They have too many injuries to key players.
Theyve had too few offensive plays.
AND Tony Kornheiser is commentatiing the game.

Can it get any worse?????

Throughout the year Oklahoma has lost their share of players on offense. Without Bomar, Peterson and a healthy line...they are still very good.
