I took a pole on ESPN about the colts and the pats, then when I looked that the results I saw this:
**********************
7) Who is the better quarterback?

58.3%Tom Brady
41.7%Peyton Manning

8) Who would have more Super Bowl titles if Brady and Manning had played their entire careers with the other team?

51.0%Peyton Manning
49.0%Tom Brady
*****************************
So, Brady's better, but if he would have less SB rings if he had a much better offense (with a D that was pretty decent at one point)? You could make a valid argument about a good Pat's D-fense, but that just is reason that teams win rings, not players--ie: if doesn't back the brady>manning statment much.

If we took out all the Voting and had the champion selected and crowned on the field then you would see College football leap anything march madness could produce.

My proposal is to get all the independents in a conference.
The winner of each conference makes the playoffs.

Big East
Pac 10
Big 12
Big 10
SEC
ACC
WAC
MAC
Conf USA
Sun Belt
Mountain West

This will have a positive effect on recruiting for everyone. A kid will be able to stay home and play for the home state team because he knows that if they win they are in.

Get rid of the Polls. They suck.
My system is call "You win You are in"

Basically the Giants traded Shawn Merriman and Philip Rivers for Eli Manning. Would any one make that trade today?
Merriman is one of the best if not the best LB in football.
Manning is not one of the best QBs in football.

The Giants better hope that Eli wins a Super Bowl before Philip Rivers does.
If you are a Giant fan who would you rather have Lavar Arrington or Merriman?

I have watched every Saits game this year. (Direct TV)

You do not wait for a Running Back to develop. They show what
they are is the first game they play.
Even if they share time and do not get alot of carries you judge they based on what they do when they do get in the game.

You judge a Running back by 3 things.
Yards Per Carry
Rushing yards
TDs
Period!!!

Don't give me kick and punt returns and catching the ball. That is just a bonus. Oh by the way if you watched every saints game you can tell that Bush is not that great a kick returner. Sure he returned a punt for a TD but watch all of his touches and what he does with it.
Sure M. Faulk was great as a WR but check out his rushing stats.
Do you thing is he were not able to produce when he was handed the ball he would be considered a great back? NO!
Face it people. What you see is what you get. this is him.
He is not going to get any better or worse. Put him in the pro bowl as the best decoy. hahaha
