Football (American) - November 2006

[Selected]: All categories Sports Football (American)

I played football all through HS. I've been watching it since 1966. I've seen, Montana, Young, Bart Starr, Bob Greise, Ken Stabler, Terry Bradshaw, Rodger Stallbach<--wrong spelling I know. Kenny Anderson, John Elway, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Dan Marino and on and on but..............

Manning is the best I've ever seen play the postion of QB.

He has redefined the postion.

Your thoughts......

The Indianapolis Colts got rid of long time COLT ICON EDGERRIN JAMES. No doubt, a blow below the belt. But they used their first round draft-pick on JOSEPH ADDAI, RB out of LSU. Not many people projected him to be an impact. But, at week 8, he and Dominic Rhoades combine for a one-two punch that helps fill the gap abit from where JAMES left off.

Who will win the game? What will be the score? What will be the deciding factor in the game (reason why the team will win or lose)

About two years ago, during the Pro Bowl weekend, ESPN anaylists and other NFL players listed what combination of NFL quarterbacks would make the "Ultimate Quarterback." Here is my selection:
Head: Peyton Manning (Because nobody can read defenses better).
Arms: Brett Favre (Even at his age he can still throw farther and faster than most).
Legs: Michael Vick (That answer should be easy for everyone to understand).
Heart: Tom Brady (Because nobody has been better at pressure situations than him, I admitt).

Who would be your picks?

In addition....

Ohio State or Michigan undefeated but everyone else in the top 10 have one or two losses except WV. Do you put that crappy, weak schedule in front of those like Florida, Auburn and Texas.

The hogs are having a fantastic football season so far. They're 7-1 but have a tough november. How far can this team realistically go and do they realisitcally have a shot of beating 3 top 15 teams (including sec championship) to go 12-1 for the season?
