In addition....
Ohio State or Michigan undefeated but everyone else in the top 10 have one or two losses except WV. Do you put that crappy, weak schedule in front of those like Florida, Auburn and Texas.

Florida lost to Auburn, Tenn beat Florida, Texas lost to OSU...
My pick is for Either Florida, Auburn or Tenn or ND if all remain with only 1 loss. WV just doesnt play anyone.

michigan schedule is not that strong. I think the winner of the SEC championship should be highly considered.

At this point I say wait and see if UWV wins out that week schedule will include wins over 2 top 15 teams. Granted no big non-conference games but that is just another reason to have a playoff not a reason to knock UWV.

Nuke Lefties is right........but that's assuming OSU does beat Michigan, if they for some reason stumble, which is very possible, then there will be a ton of 1-loss teams, and again, the BCS will be in a huge cluster f*ck situation. Playoffs are the only way to figure out a real champion-not the press, not the coaches poll(which is very biased), and not some silly computer that compiles stats, and not how good a team truly is. How can it account for rivalry games? It doen't matter what your record is when it comes to a rivalry game. Those are some of the most physical, emotional games there are. Some people pointed out that Texas has a weak schedule. Has your team ever played and won in Lincoln Nebraska with a 20-30 mph swirling wind? Have they ever played in Lubbock, where Texas Tech is always competitive? Look at any teams schedule, and you'll see that they play weak non-conference games. It's just part of scheduling.

The winner of the OSU Michigan game should go to the championship game no matter what. Then no you dont put crappy schedule undefeated teams in front of tough schedule 1 loss teams. I don't see a 2 loss team in the bcs game though. So probably OSU Michigan winner vs either auburn or OSU vs michigan all over again

Your question shows exactly why college football needs a playoff. I agree that West Virginia, even if they beat Louisville and get to the title game, has played a far weaker schedule than any of the SEC teams. But, how do you choose which of those teams makes it - the undefeated team with a weaker schedule, or a tough-schedule team that lost a game? It's a tough call.
I would, though, exclude Texas. They lost soundly to Ohio State already this season, and they barely eaked out wins against Nebraska and Texas Tech. I'd only consider them if they run the table and win the Big 12 playoff convincingly.
Ultimately, I'd have to go with the winner of the Buckeyes-Wolverines game against the Mountaineers, assuming they run the table. I'm not sure that they're actually better than Florida or Auburn, but it's tough to speculate. If you're unbeaten, I think your case is stronger. Still, this is why we need playoffs, because I'd love to see a Big East squad go up against the speed in the SEC.

If it comes down to the winner of the Ohio St/Michigan game and a bunch of 1 loss teams there would only be 2 logical choices.
1. Michigan - They would have an argument to be in the Championship game. Their only loss would be to the #1 team in the country. The loss would be very late in the year and I think the human polls would drop them to far to stay at #2 in the BCS.
2. Texas - They would be the only other 1 loss team whose only loss was to the #1 team in the country.
Whether we like it or not, and I don't, if WV runs the table they're in. I don't think they get past both Louisville and Rutgers though. And if they don't, what we get is a Texas/Ohio St. rematch in the desert for all the marbles.
Hook'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Colt's not a freshman anymore.
Edit
How can any of you SEC homers logically put any other 1 loss teams ahead of the only two 1 loss teams whose only loss was to Ohio St?

The Big East is clearly not as weak as it once was. West Va / Louisville / Rutgers all undefeated. All of these teams are yet to play each other.
if West Virginia or Louisville go undefeated....try to go and tell the coach: "sorry, but your perfect season just wasnt perfect enough".
I think that the championship game will come down to the Ohio st / Michigan winner vs the West Virginia / Louisville winner

The argument against West Virginia is a weak one. Mountaineers have the schedule of the teams that WOULD play them. Tennessee won't play WVU, Florida won't, Auburn won't, and Arkansas won't. The thing is, the SEC will not play good teams out of conference. The ACC will, Maryland lost to WVU and might win the ACC, Miami lost to Louisville, but nobody wants to mention that. The thing is, WVU will have beaten 2 top 15 teams if they go undefeated, and two undefeated teams at that. The Big East is no longer a weak conference, that has been proven all year. There is a changing of the guard going on in college football, FSU, PSU, Miami, VT, USC all aren't what they used to be. You have teams like Boise State, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Arkansas, Maryland, WVU, and Louisville gaining national attention and no one wants to give them the credit because it is not their team and not what they are used to. Problem is, a Big East team will be in the title game, the even bigger problem is we don't know who that is going to be yet. What happens if Louisville beats WVU, Rutgers beats Louisville, and then Rutgers beats WVU. They will have beaten two top 15 teams and go undefeated. All it takes is a few more upsets in the "precious SEC" and Rutgers could find themselves in the big seat.
All in all though, it is going to be WVU vs. Ohio State
Ohio State 24
WVU 48
Choke on it

It's still too early to tell! There are far too many awesome games this month. I think it will come down to the winner of the Ohio State/Michigan game and Louisville (I hope), although you are likely correct that it will be Florida, Auburn or Texas.

At this evaluate time i think of the two maximum deserving communities are Kansas and Ohio St. In some weeks Kansas will probable lose to Mizzou or Okla. so as that they gained't be in BCS. Assuming Ohio St. would not lose to Illini or Michigan they ought to be interior the recreation! 12-0 in a substantial convention earns you a fashion in! notwithstanding if the great 10 is a joke this season! So Ohio St. as against? LSU and Oregon have terrific situations. i might think of LSU is extra helpful than Oregon so as that they might get the nod. (regrettably i think of the BCS gets it genuine this year!) Plus LSU has performed a monster schedule and a convention call recreation! That call recreation is one extra substantial hurdle that Oregon would not ought to rigidity approximately! WVU would not deserve a shot! they are undesirable against sturdy communities! what share turnovers against USF 6 or 7? quit being a homer and get genuine! the great East is worst or close to to has undesirable using fact the great 10!
