I think he should've been suspended for at least a year, if not for good. What that punk did was unacceptable. If you or I cleated a guy in face and caused him to get thiry-something stitches we'd be in jail for a year. I have no tollerance for this crap...just like with the Indiana Pacers a few years ago Ron Artest and Jermaine O'Neil should've been booted for good too.

Sounds like a fair punishment. The guy was playing the next week. He seemed sincere in his apology. Although Haynesworth has a history, which makes him suspicious. I say give him a year out and zero tolerance. Meaning next time he does ANYTHING he is gone for good.

My opinion at the time was that he should have been suspended for the rest of the year. But the NFL's punishment was not that severe, so once he serves the suspension, it's time to move on.

Albert Hanynesworth should be suspended permently from the NFL. He should also be in jail.

Suspension for the rest of the season w/o pay would be a good start. Criminal charges would be better.

no. i think he was suspended for a reasonable time. he appeared sincerely apologetic. he is in fact human.
