Kansas City is located on the border of Missouri and Kansas. The Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium on the Missouri side, off of I-70, it is not located in the heart of the city like others.

Kansas City, Kansas had another name in the old days. Kansas City, Missouri does stretch into Kansas, but the suburbs have their own names and are considered to be separate cities. However, when a ballot measure came up to approve bonds for fixing up Arrowhead Stadium, the people of kansas were asked to vote a tax on themselves for this purpose. The gimmick being that the folks in Kansas may find it harder to get Chiefs tickets if they did not support the tax.

Pretty sure Arrowhead Stadium is on the Missouri side. P.S.: Kansas City is actually one city -- it just had the misfortune of being formed across two states, so you have Kansas law controlling one side and Missouri law controlling the other. Screwy, huh?

Missouri, and Kansas City is actually one city spread out over state lines.
