Who still thinks there they BEST team in the NFL! I think Dallas got lucky i dont even think the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

I still think the Colts are the best team in the league. The Cowboys are not a bunch of bums and definitely came prepared to play. Parcells knows how to win. He had that very good defense ready for what the Colts do and it showed. I truthfully don't think the Cowboys were lucky, after all, luck is where preparation meets opportunity. The Colts played way below their normal level partly because the Cowboys made it so.
It's not reasonable to expect a team to win every game anyway. Last year the Colts beat the Steelers convincingly during the season and had a horrible game to lose to them in the playoffs.
I have learned that sometimes a loss can show you weaknesses that you may not have seen yourself and you can focus on improving there. If the Colts go back and adjust like they always do then this may help them in the playoffs.
Bottom line = Cowboys won.

I think the Colts are still the best in the NFL way better than the Bears, andthe Cowboys got lucky interceptions and the Colts were just unfortunate. I see the Colts in Superbowl 41

I beg to differ with you there, the Cowboys could very well make the playoffs. I think they were more than just lucky last night to win. The Colts have barely won a couple of games against pretty bad teams at that time (Tennessee and Buffalo). Dallas has a good football team when they all work together. Hey, as far as I am concerned, my 'Boys are Superbowl contenders as much as any other team is.

I still think they're the best team in the NFL. The Colts played like sh*t last night. Everyone has a bad night. Dallas severely outplayed us. Even Peyton Manning was off. The defense was horrible, Tony Romo made bigger and better moves. And that interception off Harrison...poor Dungy didn't even get the info in time so he could challenge it or I think we'd still be undefeated.
Dallas did get lucky, but Dallas also outplayed us.
I'll know tonight whether or not I think Dallas will make the playoffs. The Giants are struggling. They're injured, they're beat up. Not to mention, out of Dallas and the Giants, Dallas has an easier schedule. So if the Giants can pull out this win tonight, I think Dallas won't win the NFC East. However, should the Giants lose, I think we may see Dallas heading to the playoffs :'(

That is a good question The Bears got murderd by the Dolphins and now the colts lost a game to Dallas.. What i think it is is momentary set backs. The football teams will lose some and they will win some. It all depends on who can face their mistakes and follow through with the season...

With the way the NFL is now a days considering free agency, there really is no dominant team. There are a few teams that are better than the others though. My pick pick, being a Bears fan, is Chicago being the best. Yet there is Baltimore, San Diego, Denver, NY Giants, Carolina, and New England. All playing well, and have a shot. If the Bears weren't the best!

Eh, the colts lost one game. Nobody is perfect these days, they were bound to lose something. If not now, we all know it would have been in the playoffs. I think Peyton Manning will be this generation's Dan Marino. But I still can't take away that they are the strongest team. Manning has the command of the offense, better than any other QB in the league.

I don't think there is a clear BEST in the NFL. The Chargers beat Denver. The Colts have a suspect running game. The Bears have Rex Grossman. New England can't beat Denver. The NFC sucks as a whole. Baltimore has a ton oif issues.
Any given Sunday...

Dude the Colts got manhandled. Dallas did what the colts can't stop and ran it. Barber had 2 touchdowns. The Colts are not the best team. Chicago maybe. Chargers looking like it althought Merrimem cheated the system to help the Chargers beat the Rams.

I think the Colts are ONE of the best teams in the NFL - but if you look back at the stats you will see "luck" was not an attribute of the game. Defense dominated and the stronger defense won the game.
