I also want Marciano against Dempsey evaluated and Louis against Dempsey evaluated.

Ring magazine has Louis with the number one punch. I don't agree with that. Dempsey at number 7. I don't agree with that and Marciano at number 14. I will conceed to Brad in that Marciano may not have the punch I thought he had. Look at the whole package of Marciano however when looking at these fights.

Rank your top ten fighters in the heavyweight division all time. Please don't rank todays heavyweights I don't want to be depressed today.

5 part question. I think you guys and gals can handle it.

They both were great. But who do you think would win in a fight? The undefeated boxer who knocked out Louis, or Sugar Ray Lewis?

I thought this subject needed more commentary. First of all, to our friend who didn't think Curry did much as a pro, he won the WBA title in February of 1983 against Jun Sok Hwang, beat just about every contender at 147 of the day, and unified the title knocking out Milton "The Ice Man" McCrory in December of 1985. Before he fizzled out against Honeyghan, Donald was a contender to the pound for pound title that was just beginning to be debated back in the mid 80s. He was quick, great defense, good offense and struck like a "cobra". Donald had a stellar amateur career (400-4), was the 147 lb representative on the 1980 US Olympic Team that boycotted the Games, unified the welterweight title as a pro, and after the loss to Honeyghan went on to also win the WBC 154 lb. title knocking out Gianfranco Rosi. So yes, Donald Curry belongs in the Hall of Fame and I was his #1 fan for many years. HOWEVER, Floyd is a once in a lifetime fighter and because of that I would pick Floyd to win in 12.

There has been much controversy in this forum about the Rock's greatness. Some feel he was a protected fighter. Others feel he is the best heavyweight to ever lace them up. Based on his record and hall of fame competition (albeit they were past their prime) he beat I rate him third behind Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis. You can only fight the competition available to you in the era you fought. To retire undefeated is quite an accomplishment. He ducked no one is his career. You can't say the same about Valuev who is approaching the Rock's record. What is your opinion on this subject?

Don claims he's going to be the promoter to unify the heavyweight championship. Do you thinks he's blowing smoke up every boxing fan's *ss or is this really going to happen?

In theory more "champions per division" more money. He takes credit for unifying the middleweight title when B Hop was undisputed champ. But it was B Hop's desire to unify the titles that was the real catalyst behind that divisions unification. Do today's heavyweight "champions" have that same desire?

Since there are some people on here crazy enough to believe that Floyd Mayweather jr. could've beaten Sugar Ray Leonard, let's match them against each others top welterweight opponents. Who would win these fights?

Mayweather vs. Roberto Duran
Mayweather vs. Wilfred Benitez
Mayweather vs. Thomas Hearns

Leonard vs. Zab Judah
Leonard vs. Carlos Baldomir
Leonard vs. Sharmba Mitchell

Please pick the winner of each of these fights.
And please try to keep a straight face when picking the Leonard fights, Thanks.

Remember when Felix Trinidad came out of retirement and handpicked Ricardo Mayorga, and looked liked Superman in beating him, then got taken to school in his very next fight against Winky Wright. Will Oscar suffer the same fate against Mayweather? He followed the same trail as Trinidad did, hand picking Mayorga, looked devestating in beating him, and now is going up against a master boxer and defender in Floyd, just as Trinidad did in facing Winky. Will Oscar suffer the same fate as Tito? Are we putting too much stock in Oscar's victory over the limited Mayorga?

ok folks i have asked this question around school and everyone i ask that know how quick tyson is, and how hard his punches are and know anything about boxing besides ali's name says tyson would win, cause micheal spinks bro beat muhammad ali, and micheal spinks was a undefeated chanpion and tyson took him out in 91 seconds...... also people say ali is to quick when ali fights he gets hit a lot, only takes 1 good combo from tyson to knock him out, so who would win

http://youtube.com/watch?v=zFf1Pcidex8 theres a link people say ali would win cause his speed but compare speed between him and tyson its about the same exept when tyson hits u its not just a fast hit that looks fancy

I know you can get knocked if you hit the right spot, but if a lightweight hit a heavyweight, the heavyweight a probly shake it off.
