I used to despise Tyson for the negative impact he made on boxing, but I came to realize just how great he once was, and how he basically wasted away. He had undeniable talent, no matter what any other "tomato-can excuse" people may tell you. But he didn't have the mental game. He may have had the body and skills of a champ, but lacked the heart and mind. Now I just feel sorry for him, and the amount of talent he could have displayed.

Read the autobiography by Teddy Atlas and you'll fing out all you need to know about the "Tin Bully.''

His life has been one where as long as he could knockout the string of tomato cans he was scheduled to demolish, everything was handled or covered up. Without his apologists with large bankrolls to make problems disappear, Tyson is teetering on the brink of ruin.

Sad to say, no. He'll always be linked to violence, alcohol, drugs and run-ins with the law, and his checkered past will forever hound him.
