I keep seeing Spurs fans calling the Suns soft, and Nash in particular. I don't really understand how you can say that when Nash tried to play the end of a game with blood flowing down his face.

So please, explain to me why the Suns are a "soft" team or why they're not.

Derick Colman was selected number 1, 2 or 3 in the NBA draft. He was the most talented player in the draft. He relied on his genetics to play in the NBA and was usually overweight. He never practiced and most NBA players can only dream of having his talent. He was a nomadic NBA player for his whole career because he never came close to his potential. Could Lebron James be like Derick Colman?

I played my college ball at Saint Joseph's.
I was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated my senior year.
I currently play on an eastern conference team, but I was originally drafted by a western conference team.

Which NBA player am I??

First one to guess right, gets the points.

Can Suns really blame Horry for the loss.It seems that
while the Suns have talent they have depth problem. They have
players that can step up when the stars are playing bad are
can not play like yesterdy game. While if the spurs were
in the situration as the Suns was in they would have a
good cahnce of winning do to the amount of talent and depth
of the bench. While I disagree with the Decision by the
NBA to suspend Diaw and Stoudmire I think its not all horry blame .Does anyone think Suns lack of players who acn step up part of the blame. If they had more dpth the suspinsion would be not all that big of a deal.

If you dont know basketball in depth, then your answer will be obvious and shallow.
This is not a no-brainer.
Think what could have happened if Shaq and Kobe were still together.
Analyze everything.
Then provide an intelligent answer.

Here you have a player that is known for trying to hurt players. If the NBA is going to be too weak to do anything about it, it might as well be a "tragedy" on the court delivered in the same manner he is dishing out. Anyone else want to see his career ended?

I thought Cartwright with the bulls was the worst, but I swear Ben Wallace isn't rebounding, defending or scoring. Why would any team want him?

I rarely watch the Bulls anymore and after watching them tonight I don't see any of the magic that MJ performed or instilled in his team mates.

I understand two very good players were suspended, but they weren't suspended for no reason. The NBA after the big brawl said if a player leaves the bench without a substitution or timeout, he is suspended. Amare and Diaw did just that and they got suspended. They then argue that since it was the playoffs the NBA should have changed the rules or should have been leniant. The NBA didn't make any sort of anouncement about a changed rule, so they can't change it after the player commited the crime. I then hear that since it was Amare stoudemire it should have been a free pass. Well, the NBA doesn't make rules for a select few. All rules apply to everyone.

Did the suspensions cost the suns game 5? YES. Was the NBA right in giving suspensions? YES.

After Amare Stoudewhiner made the comments on bowen and ginobili being dirty, Popvich said h'es talented but he's young. Well, Amare made a "young" mistake and payed for it. The spurs are experienced and keep there cool. Nash acted when he fell

Can a point guard or shooting guard truly be effective in the NBA without being able to dribble the length of the floor with both hands?

Whether "yes" or "no" please state the reasons for your answer one way or another.

Please do not answer with a simple "yes" or "no". You have no chance of getting the best answer that way.

This is not the typical IDIOT question that you see here in the basketball questions. I decided to "mentally downshift" so that "everyone" might actually have an opportunity to learn something about basketball.

What are the THREE most important attributes/abilities that a point guard must possess to be an effective NBA point guard.

Here's a clue. ALL of the teams left in the playoffs have point guards that are at the very least "proficient" in these areas. (What a coincidence)

Good luck to all you "Red" Auerbach's out there.
