If I may; the word is ‘finesse’; not ‘soft’.
And Steve Nash is not a dirty player because he drives to the hoop hard; it is poor ACTING on the part of the defender trying to draw the offensive foul.
The inside the paint game of some teams is more like a combination sumo wrestling and boxing match without the punching.
When did basketball become a contact sport?

No the Suns are not soft. It's been said time and again that the best two teams in the east are San Antonio and Phoenix that's why there's so much emotion and excitement in this round. I think the Suns in a couple of more years will be the team to go thru to get to the finals. Amare just needs to grow a little and get more experience under his belt. Good luck tonight. Go Spurs Go!

"Soft" reffering to their style of play. They don't pound the ball inside like San Antonio. They dont set up half court. Their offense depends on Steve Nash penetrating and passing.
In my opinion, Nash is a very dirty player, not a soft player. Whenever he penetrates, he CRASHES into a defensive Spurs player, passes the ball to whoever that Spurs is guarding, thus giving his teamate a wide open look.

Are you serious? They are basketball. The Spurs say the suns are soft because they don't blatantly foul the spurs players or break there nose or throw Nash into the scorers table. The spurs are dirty and the suns play with heart. Watch tonights game!!!

You can call it soft, but it is their way of playing. To me I would rather watch a team like that. I love what Nash does, I actually think they have the best of both worlds, Nash with the finesse, and Stoudamire for the punishing(when he is allowed to play).

I don't think the Suns are soft. I love Steve Nash and I do think the Spurs play dirty and get away with everything.

They both are soft teams, but it seems like this year the Spurs have stepped it up. Bruce Bowen & Robert Horry are not playing around. Amerie Stoudamire needs to get in there and bang some heads.

The Suns are not a bang it out team. They want to run with the ball and find mismatches. Teams that slow down the game, and grind it out are called tough. The Suns have their own way of doing things, and I think it's working.
