The MAVERICKS! Thats right, the Spurs will go all the way again this yr as much as i hate to admit it and win again. I know they're boring, they've done it all before but theres nothing we can do now. I hate them even more then when the Lakers were winning their championships.

Anyone who downplays the importance of those suspensions is full of it. It is impossible to overstate how crucial it was to the Spurs advancing. And yet all I hear on sports radio & TV here in San Antonio is how the Suns should just accept it, they still could have won, stop whining, etc.

And before you morons out there freak out about me whining, know that I'M A LIFELONG SPURS FAN FROM SAN ANTONIO. I just happen to prefer honesty.

It absolutely sucks that the NBA stepped in and ruined this series, which had the potential to go down as one of the greatest in recent memory. Now it's just a black eye, an embarassment.

I know the Suns would have taken Game 5 with Stoudamire & Diaw, and right now, instead of all this bitching and moaning and wondering what might have been, we'd all be looking toward Game 7, expecting it to be the high point of the entire season, the real Final.

I'd gladly trade the Spurs advancing tonight for the chance to watch that game.

Anyone?

I hate them. Because they are not pure basketball players, they're dirrty! And is it fair to advance to the conference finals, after all those rogue plays versus Phoenix?

Although I'm sooo happy that the spurs won, I also feel kind of bad for the Suns. Especially Nash. He is such a nice guy, and I think he really deserves a chance to win the championship. Does any one else feel the same way?

The NBA just screwed the Suns big, how are you going to suspend one of the Suns biggest stars. I don't agree with Horry being suspended either, he was given a flagrent foul and that should have been it, he didn't pursue Nash after the foul, it was just a really hard one and intentional. When you are in the playoffs tempers do flare, it is more physical, and more to play for. Bottom line, the NBA ruined a really good series, the Spurs were given a much better deal, totally unfair. Looks like the Spurs will make it to the finals this year, and will probably get another deal to win it all this year. I think we seen the same situation in the NFL two years ago when Pittsburgh was pretty much given the game against Seattle in the Superbowl. Oh yeah, who cares about Tim Duncan, it would make my day to see his knee blow out in game 1 against Utah. Hey Duncan, break a leg.

I'm a diehard Cavs fan and to tell you the truth I think we are going to lose in 6. But i'm still rooting for the James Gang and hopefully I am wrong and we go play the Spurs (beating the Jazz) and win the Championship! But yea the Pistons are a hell of a team. GO CAVS!

Although the Spurs did put the Suns to sleep you have to admit the officials were giving ALL the calls to the Spurs. The Suns don't have a chance especially when Dick Bavetta can't see worth **** and they call a travel every other play down the court. It's really pathetic, I hope you enjoy a handing there Spurs' fans.

I am a 13 year-old fan the NBA. I do not have a favorite team or player, nor do I hate any player. I think he is innocent. Guilty of adultery, but innocent of rape. I don't want to be judgemental since I wasn't there, but evidence of another sexual partner was found on 2 pairs of her clothing and her body. It is highly unlikely that the DNA experts made the same mistake 3 times. She also attended alcohol parties in the weeks after. She was clearly not as traumatized as she claims.

Also, Kobe's knee and shoulder were hurting that night, and he couldn't even play in the first few games of the season. To my knowledge, the woman is about 5'10". No way would he have the strength to force her. Yes, an 8-inch height difference is a lot. But I am 5'1" and 100 lbs and I know I can hold off a 5'9" person with only 2 healthy limbs

I want to know more about the person Kobe is behind the way he acts on TV. This subject is controversial, but please keep your languaage clean.

Don't get me wrong I think is one of the best and definately in the HOF but lets look at some stats.

Larry Bird did better than Jordan in every stat except for career points and points per game. Yes Jordan has 6 titles but the nba was much weaker in the 90's. How many titles would the Celtics have won if there was no Lakers in the 80's. There was good competition in the 90's but nothing close to the 80's.

If you want to go soley on titles there are plenty of players that have more than 6 titles. Bill Russel for example has 11.

Jordan was able to take over games but so was Bird. No matter what you need Bird would deliver. A rebound, steal, score, anything.

I am bias because Bird is my favorite player. I just don't understand how everyone is so quick to say Jordan is the best ever.

During the regular season when Yao went down, Van Gundy's Rockets didn't miss a step. Their record actually got better after Yao got injured. That shows how well prepared and well coached that team was. So he lost in the 1st round again. So did Phil Jackson, but he's not going anywhere. Bad move by Houston's GM. It would be cool if he joins Riley's staff in Miami next year.
