Hey to all you Spurs fans out there.. TAINTED TAINTED TAINTED TAINTED. CHEATERS CHEATERS. I feel sorry for suns fans but hey, don't worry most of us think that the win the San Antonio SPERMS had was because the league already handed it to them!

Why can't you just accept that the Suns really lost the series in game one--when they lost IN PHOENIX?

Of course it is tainted.

Sure, the Spurs won the game on the court, but there simply is no way getting around the fact that in the pivotal Game 5, with the series tied at 2-all, Phoenix did not have 2 of its most important players - including a FIRST TEAM ALL-NBA player - on the court. Even though what provoked it was a very hard foul by a Spurs player on the Suns' MVP - who had already been kneed to the groin in this series.

As Steve Kerr said, the Spurs actually got rewarded for that kind of play. Not good.

Some have actually claimed that Suns lost the series by losing Game 1 at home. Hello, the Suns gained back home court advantage by winning AT San Antonio in Game 4. They should have had momentum going back home for Game 5. But they simply didn't have enough post players like you need in the playoffs.

This series should have had a Game 7.

San Antonio's victory over Phoenix is only tainted for Suns fans who, like you, don't want to admit the obvious: the Spurs are the better team.

As a Spurs fan, I don't condone Robert Horry's cheapshot on Steve Nash. I'm glad Horry was suspended, but I hate that the Suns' top scorer, Amare Stoudemire, had to sit-out a game (I don't hate, however, that the NBA's rule was enforced). But the argument that San Antonio only won this series because of the suspensions is ludicrous. Didn't Amare and Boris Diaw play in the other five games, three of which Phoenix lost?

"Why can't they beat the Suns in a good, clean game?" Rule #1 in sports: exploit your opponent's weakness. Every team in the league knows the Suns are soft ... San Antonio simply exploited it with their physical play.

The Suns had an outstanding season: they won more than 60 games, and they won their first-round series. Phoenix Suns fans can take heart in this: they're not Dallas fans. At least Phoenix fell to a team with a legitimate shot at winning the championship.

What just happened? Both teams squared off with full rosters (or actually, the Spurs were down an important role player), and the Spurs simply proved to everyone that they were straight-up the better team. What more do you want?

The win isn't tainted by anything but whiny fans who can't accept that rules are rules - if the Spurs had rushed off the bench like the Suns did, then the Spurs' players would have been suspended. But how can anyone deny that the Spurs were, ultimately, the better team?

PLEASE!!

The "superior" suns had a chance to push this into a game seven at home and choked big time. This being that they had two "fresh" guys back. . what their fans said. NO ONE can complain that this game was badly officiated like I will admit it was in game three. The spurs got hot when they needed to and the suns simply faded when they needed to shine.

Again everyone says that the spurs are an old team. But if old means winning 3 championships and having a 25% chance of winning the 4th I'll take that over the exciting up tempo, 0 championships game that the suns play.

To be a championship team, you got to go thru teams like that. The Suns can't let the fact that the Spurs play dirty make them lose focus. The Suns even with the dirty plays had a chance to win game 5 and take the lead in the series. They let the Spurs get that win and in the process put themselves in a bad position which led to them being eliminated.

Grow up, guys. Basketball is a physical game. It's not like any of the Suns aren't guilty of some roughness on the court.

Down goes Phoenix... Down goes Phoenix!!! As if Stoudlemire & Bell didn't get nasty. I'm just glad we don't have to watch Mike Dantoni snivel & whine any longer.
Spurs & Pistons in the finals. Outcome.... I won't even guess. The Jazz???? No way... not even close.
