Umm i would rather have Steve Nash. Steve is a team guy he was nomianted for MVP two straight years and he makes everyone around him better and he can even score and take it in. Tim Duncan is getting old, he has got alot of milage on him and he is just good for him self not like Nash who can make everyone better. Tim Duncan does also get alot of calls in his favor just because of his name. If you really pay attention you will see Steve Nash must work alot harder to get calls for him over Duncan. So I say Nash.

Steve Nash. The point guard is the court general in a game, and Nash is by far the best point guard in the NBA as proven in Dallas and with the Suns. While Duncan offers points and leadership, Nash leads the team. A team without Steve would look like a chicken with it head cut off. Duncan is surrounded by NBA elite, San Antonio's second string could be the next expansion team. It is hard not to look good when surrounded by stars. Nash has had others come and help, but is a star and could lead any team into the playoffs!

I'd take Duncan. Steve Nash is a great player but he's been around a long time and is starting slow down. He plays great offense but has no defense. He also has a bad habit of turning on his A game when it's too late to help the team.
Duncan is a younger, veteran big man with speed, great offense, and great defense. He's a team player who knows how to take charge when it's necessary. He's just a more well-rounded player.

STEVE NASH!!! TOTALLY!!! =D... I think I would choose steve nash because he is a really good point guard. He makes his teammates better. =P Steve Nash would be better than Steve nash because Steve Nash shows how intense he can play and how tough he can play. When Steve Nash was hurt on the nose he still wanted to keep on playing but too bad he wasn't allowed to =( o and by the way he was MVP 2 times =D that makes it even better =D GO PHOENIX SUNS!!!

I'd take Duncan. It's a tough comparison, because one's a point guard and one's a big forward. But Duncan gives you more elements: rebounding, shot-blocking, finishing ability and post-up moves. Nash gives you alot, like great shooting (free-throws especially) and uncanny passing ability, but won't contribute on the boards or make the defensive stops like Tim will.

Tim Duncan all the way. He is the best player in the NBA. Look at his stats, he is a champion, and he does not cause any problems for his team. The only thing against him is he is to bland. Spurs did the best thing making him a franchise player because it paid off.
