with a semi-flat ball, it would be tremendously difficult to dribble, pass, and shoot the ball greatly slowing down the game creating a bore factor. Why does basketball need to be more challenging?

I seem to remember semi-inflated basketball from an old Letterman Top Ten List of late night programs on ESPN2

That wouldn't make any sense. The players wouldn't be able to run and dribble the ball at the same time if they did that. They'd have to walk and dribble and if they had to do that, no one would watch or play basketball. It's challenging as it is.

it sure would be. how about we get rid of cars and computers while we're at it, isnt it more challenging to walk to work than to drive or to do work without a computer.
