they will all be available this summer, and the nets desperately need a big man. can the nets possibly get either gasol, garnett, or jermaine o'neal? they could offer jefferson, collins, boone, draft picks, etc.

I don't see the Nets getting Jermaine or KG. These guys are sick of be on losing teams. The Nets would most likely have to deal Jefferson or Kidd to get either player. If Vince leaves this offseason, which is likely, the Nets would simply make the playoffs again but not go anywhere. However, if one of them is paired up with Kobe in LA, they could do some damage come playoff time. NY is a possibility for O'Neal because of his relationship with Isiah Thomas, but why would the Pacers want to trade him to an Eastern Conference Rival? As for Gasol, the Nets wouldn't be willing to part with the players that Memphis would demand.

Well, I've been sorely disappointed in Vince Carter, and if he doesn't step-up in these next two games and actually earn the title of an All-Star, I will be eager to see them let him go to open up salary room to get one of those big men.

Collins can go, and I'm lukewarm on Jefferson, but I'd like to see Boone get an opportunity to grow some more. I didn't see many UConn games, so I wasn't familiar with him or Marcus Williams; but from what I saw this year, I think they're both 'keepers'.

i think they could get one of those plasyer. the player i think would really fit better is garnett though. garnett is not only a low post threat, but he can play on the perimeter, leads the league in boards, and is one of the top deffensive big men in the league. he could create for himself and others, which would do justice for kidd. also he hasn't had a true point gaurd since marbury left.

i love rich but he could be trade bait in my opinion. i would hate to see him leave but they don't need two of the same players in the game. he and vince play the same game except vince can shoot three exceptionally well. i would love to see garnett or kidd with the lakers though.
