Can Suns really blame Horry for the loss.It seems that
while the Suns have talent they have depth problem. They have
players that can step up when the stars are playing bad are
can not play like yesterdy game. While if the spurs were
in the situration as the Suns was in they would have a
good cahnce of winning do to the amount of talent and depth
of the bench. While I disagree with the Decision by the
NBA to suspend Diaw and Stoudmire I think its not all horry blame .Does anyone think Suns lack of players who acn step up part of the blame. If they had more dpth the suspinsion would be not all that big of a deal.

Yes they lack depth possibly the best starting five talent wise (Amare, Nash, Marion, Bell, Diaw) and great sixth man but it drops off dramtically. Although kurt thomas has played very well in this series. However they have a high draft pick this year i believe its atlanta's. They need some 3 point shooters and maybe big. Also diagree i thought the suns played very well they look like the suns first time all series. Their defense was great keeping the spurs to lowest score all season for the first quarter and half. The difference was manu. Spurs role players can still play as long one of their big three are on the court. Plus finley was star player once. Also the decision on the suspension was right i answered this already before, just a bad mistake by the players unfair but right.

Dear richardroc,

i think the Suns have no one to blame for yesterday's loss but themselves.

First of all the Spurs played the worst first half of the entire year and i think the suspensions bothered them more. Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith both (former All-stars) commented on how the Spurs did not seem to play the game with the same intensity and that they might have been feeling a bit "guilty" about Stoudemire and Diaw otherwise they could have blown the Suns out early.

Also late in the game there were a couple of "bogus" calls (like when Bell flopped when Ginobli barely touched him. Also when the Spurs made a three but there was a simultaneous foul (which is usually basket counts- and then foul) but the three was disallowed. Also when Duncan was fouled even though he had already gotten rid of the ball. Normally that means the coach can choose anyone to shoot the free throw- but instead Duncan who is historically a bad free thrower missed both throws which gave the Suns a chance at a 3 to tie- they had a good luck but missed. Down the stretch the refs gave the Suns enough opportunities to win the game.

So we can all speculate about this and that- but the truth is it seemed the Spurs were equally as affected by the suspensions and didn't play with the same intensity they would have had the Suns been at full strength. The Spurs down the stretch executed better than the Suns, Period!!!

I disagree, if you took Ginobili or Parker or (god forbid) Duncan off of the Spurs they's lose to. Horry is a role player, not one of the Spurs three best players, where as Amare is one of the three best players on the Suns so the suspension had to hurt them. I mean look for real at game 5, the Suns lost by 3, do you really think Amare wouldn't have made a difference in a three point game?

I think that they do lack some depth but they are not that bad off. They do have the sixth man of the year (Barbosa), Kurt Thomas, and Diaw coming off the bench so they aren't that bad. I do feel that Horry won this game for the Spurs. You can't honestly tell me that if Stoudimire was in that game that they would have let it slip away. They controlled this game then got extremely tired in the 4th quarter. Do you think if Duncan and whoever backs him up got suspended the Spurs could win if Stoudimire played? I think not

Is this a real question???? You're criticizing the Suns' depth in a game they were forced to play without their 1st team All-NBA center and his solid backup??? A game they almost won anyway???? They have excellent depth! Look for the 6th man of the year to make a little noise in Game 6.

well i think the suns have good depth
its just they didnt show it last night, they didnt play jalen rose marcus banks, jumaine jones they have some pretty good role players but for some reason they just got locked in that six man rotation which i think caused them the game and of course not having amare and diaw also caused them the game

It's not possible to have all the good players in 1 team. The salary cap will not be enough to cover all the expenses and salary of those who are good. Can a company employ all the high flyers and pay them the salary they request ?

well, here's one thing: diaw is the depth of the suns' bench. we could still consider barbosa and thomas, but the problem was the suns have no big guy with them.
