They still chime in about a 162 game season, and "we'll see who's in first at the end of the year". Blah, blah, blah. Their pitching could go down as the worst in history. $25,000,000 to talk to Kei Igawa? Are you serious? Worst pitcher in the league. Damon hits nothing and is always hurt, Abreu can't buy a hit, Rivera just isn't Rivera. It's time to face the facts...they stink.

The similiarities of having a potent offense, but an inept pitching staff or pitchers that were washed up? Mattingly,Winfield,Henderson,Randolph,Roberto Kelly made up a pretty damn good line up. But the pitchers they had such as Guidry,Rhoden, Tommy John were past their prime kinda like Pettitte amd Mussina now. SO am I the only one who is getting flashbacks of the 20 years ago?

If you attempt to steal a base and the ball gets by the catcher does it still count as a steal?

Pitchers you select do not have to be playing ball now. They can be from the past. Unless of course you prefer pitchers from today's era. It's up to you. Just remember 1 from the American League and 1 from the National league.

OK, this might be a strange question. But when I played baseball from age 5 - 21 the pitcher threw to the "catcher" obviously! Watching baseball all my life and collecting baseball cards, the position has always been "catcher". Now I go to my nephew's games and these soccer-moms and out of shape fathers call the position "back-catcher". What!?!? That is completely incorrect and wrong. The position is catcher, period. By the way I live in Canada. Anyone else in Canada or the US have an opinion?

When the news came out that he died in a car crash, everyone jumped the gun and gave out their love and support. Now that the truth has come out that this idiot was driving drunk and talking to a woman on the cell phone right before he crashed, does anyone still feel sympathy for this moron? Its a good thing he did not kill the driver of the tow truck. Shame on the Cardinals for wearing the number of a drunk driver who potentially placed everyone on the road that night in danger. They should apalogize to their fans that one of their player was a big risk to society.

I hate when people say that we won't be a good team just because the Red Sox and Yankees are in the same division.
Yes we are a little bit shaky now. But considering we lost BJ Ryan, Reed Johnson, Troy Glaus, Gustavo Chacín, Gregg Zaun. We still maneged to achive a winning record in april.
