Team wins are credited to the manager, not to a coach.

Mack is the all-time leader in wins, with 3731 in championship season play, mostly with the Philadelphia Athletics plus a few years running Pittsburgh as a player/manager. Overall winning percentage was .486, but since he owned the A's as well as managed, he was in no danger of being fired, as his 1901-50 tenure indicates.

LaRussa is the active leader with 2308 as of Friday.

Joe McCarthy has the best winning percentage with .615 (2125 wins, so he's no slouch).
