Baseball - February 2007

Of the new ballparks (since 2000), what has been the best and worst you visited? Why?
The best - Milwaukee. I did not think I would like it with the retractable roof, but it has a certain flair to it. Great views from all around. Great prices also.
The worst - Philly. Bad location of scoreboard. Small areas to move around and much too crowded. Bad parking also.

I think that they could. They're an awesome team! Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau are awesome! Who else thinks they could make it??

Now of course, there will be the group who will say stupid crap like "the whinny sux will finish last". What are you - like 12?? And how could you justify an answer that stupid? Dye - Konerko - Thome - Pierzinski - Crede. Last place? Funny how your hate of a team probably is more than the love of your own. But saying that the Sox cry about the Cubs, list one player who has ever stated that? Fans - sure there are. But most I sit by in my section could care less about the Cubs. So lay off the Sox. It got old quick. And boring.
That said - list your early season AL Central predictions. No need to list "yankees and red sox". If that is your answer - start a new question.

1) Twins - Best lineup in baseball. Home field advantage for sure.
2) White Sox - Lost only one staring pitcher, strong offense.
3) Tigers - Late regular season collapse shows flaws
4) Indians - Still have no pitching
5) Royals - Just a bad team with no money

My boyfriend is a huge Braves fan and for valentines day I thought I would get him tickets to one of the games, but I don't know which game. I do know I want to go to a game in Atlanta. Also where is the best place to sit that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!?

Thanks!

I am very disaponted by the Yankees. I beleive Bernie Williams is a great athlete and he can contribute to the team with his expirience, and he sells lots of memorabilias, T-Shirts etc.. of the Yankees. They have good profit having him around. People in NY love this guy, lots os fans go to Yankee stadium to see him. Hi is a gentleman and he gave the Yankees all his career and he has helped the Yankees in so many ways. It is sad if the Yankees dont sign him and push him to retirement.
I will apreciatte ur coments, I hope I am not alone here.

First, in order to get a balanced schedule, we need 15 teams in each league. Let's move Milwaukee back to the AL West. OK, each team would play 4 games(2 2-game series) against each of the opposing league.(60 games) Then, each team would play the teams in the league, but not in their division 6 times. (2 3-game series).(60 games). Finally, each team would play 10 games against their division(2 3-game series and 2 2 2-game series)(40 games) For a total of 160 games, teams would only lose 1 home game a year, the schedule would be balance every thing would make since, now what do you think?

Looks like the Rockies have the worst pitching and the Padres have the worst lineup.

I spent it on the Donruss rated rookie card. A limited edition of 2001. I spent about $80. per card. I also purchased the Upside Down Fleer card for $100.

It seems that I just have to hold on to the cards or else sell them for 1/4 price. Any ideas on how to get more for them?

I'm going into a league where metal's are allowed, and I'm wondering if I should buy them. So do the metals catch in the grass more? Just wondering your thoughts.
