i recieved an email from my brothers lilttle leauge saying theres a meeting for scorekeepers clinic, what exactly is that? if anyone knows tell me thanks.

There is a disadvantage to being left-had throwing at third base, shortstop or second base. But this is really not the case catching. Dale Long (who threw left-handed) of the Cub's (in the 50's) caught a game although his main position was first base. Appreciate any assistance!

The way I see it, he can't lose in free agency. If he has an MVP type season, he's guaranteed to get a bigger contract on the free agent market. If he has a great playoffs, Yankees will be in on the bidding and his next contract will be out of this world. But, even if he has a bad season and a bad playoffs, I think, in this market, he could still make more money with a new contract from some team. I really don't see any scenario in which he continues his current contract. Just wondering what other fans think. Please, if you don't know anything about A-Rod's contract, move on.

if i'm not correct, the sox won in 05 and the whinny tigers LOST THE WORLD SERIES in 06. TO THE CARDINALS WHO WE CREAMED 22-6 AND SWEPT THE REST OF THE SERIES. i still love the cards though but i like the sox better

Im a diehard cubs fan and i really think that the cubs have a shot this year witht he pitching they picked up and soriano. There bullpen is betetr with cotts and I think dempster is gonna have a amazing season. Our lineup has got to be one of the best out there. So much power and speed. What do u think. No answer saying oh cubs suck serious answers plz

No matter what? I am extremely proud to be a Tiger fan. So what they lost the world series last year? At least they made it, and that experience will only motivate then that much more. Considering where The Tigers have been the previous 15 years(119 losses in 2003), I am very proud of what they have done. And they will only get better will Dombrowski in control and Jim Leyland at the helm.

Yes The Tigers did not play up to expectations in the fall classic, I believe St Louis simply played better baseball and they deserved to win it as much as The Tigers did. And yes, that is ok...only because I know The Tigers will once again reach the fall classic (maybe not this year, maybe next year) and the next time they will win.

At least it doesnt take The Tigers 88 years in between World Series win (whinny sux), and yes it has been 23 years since they last won...but they will win again, and soon.

I'm curious about its value and also what people think it may go for at an auction. Also, what are some sites to sell his card? I know he's controversial, but he's about to make freaking history. Surely the card is worth something. It's encased in hard plastic and has no wear and tear on it whatsoever.
