The way I see it, he can't lose in free agency. If he has an MVP type season, he's guaranteed to get a bigger contract on the free agent market. If he has a great playoffs, Yankees will be in on the bidding and his next contract will be out of this world. But, even if he has a bad season and a bad playoffs, I think, in this market, he could still make more money with a new contract from some team. I really don't see any scenario in which he continues his current contract. Just wondering what other fans think. Please, if you don't know anything about A-Rod's contract, move on.
