What do you think of Sosa's attempt to come back with the Rangers. Do you think he will make the team and if so do you think he will play a vital part on the team and make any type of difference for them? Personally I think he is past his prime but I would like to see him succeed

I need control and movement on my fastball; I'm a sophomore playing high school ball and I don't have an overpowering fastball (75-78 mph), so I need to improve my control and improve the movement on my fastball. Any suggestions? Also, do you know of any way I can tweak my delivery to improve velocity?

I recently watched HBO's REAL SPORTS profile on Ryan Howard, and Bryant Gumbel said: "Not if, but when Howard breaks the all time home run record."

Ok, now is this really possible? The record is 755 (who knows how much higher it will be if Bonds surpasses it). Howard is already 27 and has 82 homeruns. Lets say he plays 15 more years -- he would need to average about 44 home runs each season. And that's if the record stays at 755.

Just said he will be cheering the loudest for Bonds to set the home run record. This guy is a tool and I hope he has his worst year ever. But playing in Wild Card 2006 Detroit, no one will go to watch anyway, so who would notice...

READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU ANSWER:
WE ALL KNOW THE HISTORY INVOLVING JACKIE ROBINSONS NUMBER....WE ALL KNOW ABOUT THE GRANDFATHER CLAUSE.....WE ALL KNOW WHOEVER WAS WEARING THE NUMBER COULD KEEP WEARING IT...
That being said I would think that a fellow minority would have enough respect to switch numbers, heck even non-minorities should have switched numbers even though they didnt have to out of respect. Lucky numbers? Give me a break....the man broke the barriers so that you could make your millions of dollars you selfish fruitcake...Now in honor of Black History Month DO THE RIGHT THING AND SWITCH NUMBERS!!!!

Should we hold those who used steriods before they were against the rules of baseball 2006 season to a higher standard than we hold pictures who doctor balls (against the rules for a long time) or corked a bat?

If we keep a player out of the Hall of Fame for steriods should we kick out every player in the Hall of fame who was ever proven to have cheated in a way that is against the rules?

You would think a fellow minority would have enough respect to change his number in honor of the first minority to break through the barriers in the Major Leagues.

Everyone generally agrees Ruth is by far the best player ever to play baseball, but I just have to ask, if minorities were allowed to play in the Major Leagues during Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Rogers Hornby's time, would their stats have been as good? Ever since the 50's after Jackie Robinson, haven't the best hitters been minorities? (Aaron, Mays, Robinson, Clemente, Gwynn, Griffey Jr., Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, etc.) I wonder how Ruth would have done against all the best players in the country (and the world), not just against the best white players.
