I agree with Ozgard, the Marlins should be who the Hall takes him in as. It is a discretionary decision however.

I don't think that Gary Sheffield will make it to the hall of fame, and I don't think he deserves to. He was never a team player, plus the whole steroid business. If by some chance he did make it, I'd say the yankees or the braves.

Sheffield won't make the Hall and if by chance he did the only team he'd represent would be team Sheffield. He's as selfish as he is talented.

Atlanta Braves. Yet, he's a great ball players and has Hall of Fame talent, but he won't make the hall. Too bad, he looked like a great one in the beginning of his career. I saw Sheff when he played for the Florida Marlins, I taught he was a can't miss Hall of Famer. But it has taken him a long time to mature as a person, when he does finally mature, his career will be over and his numbers would be impressive but not hall quality. He has a huge chip on his shoulder that has ended up him losing his chance at the hall of fame.

I agree with an earlier answer - Team Shef - because that's all he every cared about - he was and is a PUNK - from his early days whinning in Milwaukee to his juiced days - he is exactly the kind of player who should never be in the hall - stats for himself - nothing for the team - if he got in - reserve a wing for him along with Albert Belle

1. Sheffield will never make the HOF
2. He should represent the Dodgers. He had his glory years on the Dodgers.

That's a huge, HUGE if, and I don't think it will happen. Not only are his number not quite there, but his attitude throughout his career has been a major problem. AKA, it really hasn't changed since his first couple of years, in Milwaukee.

Don't ever forget that the voters are the people who saw him not only on the field but in the clubhouse, day in and day out.

Certainly not the Yankees. The team and he underacheived during his years. I would think he would go in as a Marlin where he was a winner.

Obviously he should represent the team that he started his career with the Milwaukee Brewers.
