If anybody is a big baseball sportscard collector, I was just wondering about Upper Deck's hobby boxes that have that little silver hologram sticker with some numbers on it and if any of those numbers meant anything? Like I heard some people say that if the last digit is an odd, that that box would be a better one to open .. if anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated ?? Thanks and happy holidays !

Wether I answer a question, or ask one.

Especially in Opinion questions like "Whats your favorite baseball team?"

Ill answer "Twins" and come back later to see my answer get 6 thumbs-down... while, when someone says "Yankees" he/she will get 6 thumbs up.

Is there a conflict between me and the Yankees fans?

To me, i see Yankee fans (Especially rude ones) saying "Its okay to be a Yankee fan, but not a fan to any other team."

Am i wrong?

Im willing to bet anyone 1,000 points that i'll be getting some thumbs down by you know you.

It has to be a game that you saw in person. It doesn't have to be a game that had playoff implications or even be a postseason game.

For me, it's a toss up between the Montreal Expos-Toronto Blue Jays game on July 1st, 1997. Jeff Juden (oh my, where are they now) took a no-no into the 8th inning and beat Clemens in front of 50,000+ on Canada Day. The other game was Game 3 of the ALDS between the Yankees and A's in 2001, when Jeremy Giambi was called out at home because that bleeping Jeter relayed to Posada...

Why would the Braves let Giles go when there isn't anyone as good as him to take his spot? Instead sign Chris Woodward who had a career high batting average of 287. Last year. Junk!

" Who will win? "

Back in early 1900's there were some matches played back then.. but lets face it cricket and baseball have changed drastically, pitchers/bowlers can reach 90+mph.

I believe in order to have a controlled experiment, 16 college baseball players from US should play against 16 Australian college cricket players, and they should be given ONLY! 30 days each to hone their new cricketing or baseball skills (i.e pitching./bowling, hitting/batting, fielding).

Then they should play one baseball game, and one 3 day Test match.
no doubt each team should be able to win in their respective sport.. but the KEY will be to see who Will adapt easily?

so what do u all think can it be done?

They have pitching - always have. And Dodger Stadium has never been a hitters ballpark. But this is getting ridiculous. I don't think they have had a consistant 30 HR a year hitter since Piazza left. Can't we get some damn power in LA?
