What is the problem with Big Papi? what is he suffering from??? Why is he going back to Boston today???? Also, why hasn't Manny been playing????

p.s. I hope he gets better but I'm glad he's missing the last two games against the A's! Go Oakland.

The game channel is too impersonal. I don't feel part of the game. I can't react to the details of the game or enjoy it.

Or at least in the NL?
AL has many canidates. Jeter, moreanu, dye, ortiz, halladay.

NL has PUJOLS, and uhhhhhhh..... there was Davind Wright but ever since he got his big signing bonus hes sucked, Beltran has a very low batting avg. and Howard will have at least 120 strikeouts.

He is universally regarded as the best defensive OF of his era and he seems to have a great chance at 500 HRs. What do you think?

PS I'm a die hard Mets fan but I have to give credit where credit is due.

As a Yankee fan, I'd love them to not make it, but I almost want them to make it, so we can beat their sorry @sses in the playoffs.

Everyone has one of the stars they like, but which average everyday MLB player is your favorite?

Mine is Feilipe Lopez, who used to play with the Reds. He is a good base stealer and hitter, and our favorite meal is both chicken & white rice.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has caught on. Ortiz's "health problems" lately are related to the fact that he has been overloading on steroids. On pace to hit 60 home runs when he was nothing more than a platoon player in Minnesota? His home run total has gone up an average of ten per year over the last 4 years. People say he is fat, but there is a lot of muscle under that fat. I hope he drops the juice and plays naturally.....if he does then he will be the same mediocre player that he always was and always should be. He should be taking notes on how to be a superstar naturally.....look at Derek Jeter, A-Rod, and Robinson Cano. Go Yankees!

I'm a huge Dodgers fan, & only last week I saw a comment about how the Padres swept the Dodgers & that they were 1 game behind and climbing. Yes, we did get swept, but it seems that the Dodgers are the only team they can beat & the padres are the only team the Blue Crew can't beat. Well, now the Padres are 3 games down & the Dodgers are still in first place. I know there's still some season left, but any Padres fans out there, tell me what u think?

This is what Ozzie Guillen had to say on Sunday, following his team's 6-1 victory over the Wild-Card leading Minnesota Twins, whom he has taken to calling "the Pirannhas":

"I'm going to bring some poison from Venezuela to kill the piranhas. We got piranhas in our country. I'm going to call my dad to see how we can kill those piranhas. Put some poison in the water."

These are clearly terroristic threats against an entire Major League Baseball team.

Why hasn't the FBI arrested him by now?
