ok yesterday i was watching sports i seen that a-rod made a comment that he comparing himself to tiger woods... well he said that tiger was down before but he came back from his slump was it smart for him to compare himself to tiger woods.. i think he wasn't smart yes tiger was down that was because of his dad death and a-rod has his promblems yes but anyone does no one perfect... tell me what you think

it's game 7 of the world series, the teams don't matter, but it's the bottom of the 19th inning. the score is tied, and the home team is batting with the winning run on 3rd. the pitcher is due up and the manager wants to pinch hit, but the only player on the roster who hasn't been used yet is a rookie midget utility infielder. the midget has only batted 10 times all year. the midget waddles up to the plate and the pitcher deals. the ump calls strike one and the midget, livid, begins to cuss the ump violently. the midget is tossed from the game. what does the home team do now? the other players begin to savagely beat the midget in the dugout. his blood-curdling screams echo throughout the ballpark......what does the home team do??????

Whereas, the overwhelming mayority of good batters are also good defensive players.

The fact that they seldom get at bats, is no excuse. One would imagine that a pitcher should try very hard to be a good batter because after all, he is literally batting for his own cause.

Mmmm I had so many people answer with a Red Sox will lose again, no way can they take 2 or more from the A's, well we have taken 2 and going for 3, so who ever wrote in and was being ignorant yesterday with your answer that the Red Sox suck, you are DEAD wrong.The Red Sox are getting closer and closer on winning the whole damn division and if you wanna be a hater, go ahead, we will see whos where in October.

How can I get over my fear of getting hit by a normal baseball? I am a pretty good hitter when we use any kind of ball except for a real baseball. They will throw it full speed and I will back away and use a lousy swing. This is the only part of my game that is trully flawed. How can I get over it?
