Colin Farrell, he has that pitcher-intensity look about him.
Also, Costner was the best fake ball player, he really seems to like to pretend he's an athlete, so possibly him as well.

Dean Cain was a minor league player (I think). Garth Brooks went to spring training with the Padres, but that was for some charity more than anything (but hey, if I had the chance, I'd do it, too). Kurt Russell was in the Angels organization (his Dad was a player), but tore his rotator cuff and had to quit.
