Hell, The Twins have the talent and it's showing now!!! I think they have the stuff to make the Tigers work to win the central but seriously, I think the Twins will overtake the Tigers, if not during the regular season, in the playoffs!!!

Look again at the numbers people. The Red Sox and Yankees are in this bruhaha too. The Sox let the Yanks stick around even though the Yanks are banged up. The wild card teams did the same thing. George will make his moves and the Red Sox will counter and both the Yanks and Sox will play inspired ball. Both the Yanks and Sox are better teams than any team in the Central.
Either the Twins, White Sox, or Tigers will win their division. The other two can watch them and the Yanks and Red Sox play in the playoffs.

Yes and NO! They will be home watching, but I still think the Yankees will make the run they need and only the Tigers will come out of the Central. I think the Twins and White Sox will both be home watching the post-season.

the twins are playing absolutely out of their minds right now. Somethin like 32 -8 in their last 40. I think they will win the wild card because of their pitching and all of their young talent is starting to shine. I pick them for the wild card at least, if not the central champions. I still think the tigers could fall and fall fast. Mauer Johan and Liriano is all a team needs. with that one two punch they will be a legitmate contender for the world series. i dont believe the east will have anything to do with the wild card. the yankees are too old and the blue jays are based in canada so you know they wont win it. Bosox will win the east.

Its a little bit too early to ask that question. The tigers will probably win the division. while the twins will battle with the cws for the wild card. with the acquring of sandy alomar and mike macdougal the cws are still contenders. lets wait another couple of weeks and see what is happening then

In the Playoffs it's all about pitching and the Twins have it! They are making a serious run right now, and the White Sox are collapsing... The Yanks are OLD, if they're going to have a chance Cashman is going to have to find them a fresh arm... I say the Twins are the favorite to win the wildcard.

They could but I don't think the White Sox are gonna go out easily, I think the Tigers will win the division but the wild card will be between the Twins and White Sox, White Sox are defending champions, it will be close but the White Sox will beat out the Twins!
