it's game 7 of the world series, the teams don't matter, but it's the bottom of the 19th inning. the score is tied, and the home team is batting with the winning run on 3rd. the pitcher is due up and the manager wants to pinch hit, but the only player on the roster who hasn't been used yet is a rookie midget utility infielder. the midget has only batted 10 times all year. the midget waddles up to the plate and the pitcher deals. the ump calls strike one and the midget, livid, begins to cuss the ump violently. the midget is tossed from the game. what does the home team do now? the other players begin to savagely beat the midget in the dugout. his blood-curdling screams echo throughout the ballpark......what does the home team do??????

Bud, you've got to get past the midget torturing fantasies. It's not healthy.

First, off, this scenario can never happen, baseball is the only sport with a height requirement. Meaning midgets (or little people) can’t play the sport at a professional level. Second, no rookie would dare say anything to an umpire to get kicked out of the game for fear of getting the crap kicked out of him. Therefore, your scenario can’t happen.

Beat the dude till he can't move then start a huge brawl, start chucking Gatorade coolers around, hit the umps with folding chairs. Try to get the game rescheduled and get another hitter. If not possible and ump says game is forfeited continue fighting, but take it into the stands.

Your scenario is impossible. It would require game 7 to be played at the NL team's ballpark, which will never happen again for all of time.

Let's ask Ozzie Guillen. He'd probably bring in any White Sox player from the last 50 years (Minnie Minoso...anyone...anyone??) but keep Travis Hafner sitting at home...
